I am just off to wash my hair but before I go I'll leave you with a laugh.

The flylady thread is dealing with the dining room tomorrow, it was supposed to be the kids rooms but.........

Next door's owners have finally got their act together and are decorating the house ready for selling it, they appear to have dishomed a family of the biggest mice you have ever seen, I think they are really small rats masquerading as mice. They have now decided our house would be a decent alternative to the noise in next door. Hence DD running gleefully into the living room tonight shouting Mummy there's a mouse in the dining room and Pongo is playing with it!

This leads to me ordering DS upstairs to fetch the bucket he was keeping in case he was sick and inbetween me trying to trap the mouse under the bucket and my pathetic excuse for a cat patting it every time it ran by the dining room now looks like a tornado has hit in there.

At one stage it was like watching the old tennis game on the C64! One cat down one end of the dining room giving a quick swat, mousey running to other end of the dining room where another cat was waiting to give it a quick swat! In the end mousey retreated into the cupboard at the side of the fireplace, moggins frantically pulling all stuff out of the cupboard praying mousey wouldn't leap out at her, cat jumping into cupboard, moggins shutting door on both cat and mouse (cat yowling when moggins catches tail in the process)20 minutes later opening cupboard door to find ticked off cat and one very alive mouse! DH taking the p*ss by telling me they have just been sat there discussing the dozy moo who shut them in the cupboard. Pongo retreating upstairs in a sulk so Moon takes over the hunt and promptly chases the mouse behind the bookcase where it is now safely hiding waiting to jump out on me tomorrow morning when I stumble downstairs for my first cup of coffee forgetting totally that the mouse will be waiting to get it's revenge.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Wow Gingham-Ribbon - best of wishes sweetheart - hope to hear news soon.

DLB - glad to hear fence near completion. Maybe we should have a GB meet in your garden with lots of music, drink, karaoke etc etc . That would give the witch something to think about! We could put up tents in your garden and Crazychick's. That would give her something to complain about!!!

    Love you all

  • Well I thought I had posted but it has disappeared into the ethernet.

Moggins - love the mouse antics - get those traps and cheddar out - those moggies not doing their job!

DLB - looking out the tent and sleeping bag already! Having not been up to speed over the last week, did you have a blast at the weekend? Hope you enjoyed it!

Kyle - Glad Mum is just down the road. Very brave of you to open up to us here - I think that is half the battle. You look lovely in the pic you posted of you and your Mum. Things will work out sweatheart, I am sure. Glad you are going to doctor but please try to get it all out. Could Twink go with you or do you feel you should do it yourself?

    Take care.

    Love

Evening all, bit of a late post for me.
I really don't know where time has gone today.

I have just made an apricot and ginger loaf to take to Slimming World tomorrow, I feel like teacher's pet. :rotfl:

Kyle, well done on making the appointment, with that and the support you'll get from the lovely people on here, you can't go wrong.

Off to bed now, hoping to dream myself thin for tomorrow.
