Kyle, you've made the first step, well done. I've had these for years and I hate it. I was on meds prescribed but take alternatives now, I still get them but not as often. One that is portable that helps me a lot is Bachs Rescue Remedy. You can usually get them on 3 for 2 in Boots. http://nativeremedies.com/ebooks/panic-attack-ebooklet.html this is an interesting article. Good luck explaining to your partner, it's unfortunately something my partner still doesn't understand but he knows now, which helps.
One day I might be more organised...........

Just had a quick look at you all today. DH went off with his pals at 5.30 this morning to South America for 3 weeks. Feeling a bit sad as I am not well but he could not cancel trip. Big bouquet arrived this morning and had me in tears. Our first date was on Valentine's Day and he remembered. Tears in my eyes as I type. Where have the last 36 years gone!

Ticklemouse - you are amazing. I think once the decision has been made and if you feel calm, then it is the right one. Hope the kids are OK but I am sure you will break the news in the right way.

Kyle - you certainly haven't come across as having problems sweatheart. You always sound so full of life and get up and go! I presume you confide in Twink but maybe you should try and get DH to understand a wee bit more. Men can be so indifferent (but unintentially) at times. PM me if you need any support.

Anyway, love and hugs to those that need it.

DLB - is the fence finished? We need to put that one to bed sweatheart!

    Love

Kyle, big hugs from here too.

I have had mild panic attacks/stress attacks/can't leave the house attacks in the past as well. Touch wood I have felt "fine" the last few months.

I can understand when you say about your hubby not totally understanding. My hubby is the same and at times thinks I am just a nutter :rotfl: (probably right then!).

Good luck at the docs on Monday :grouphug:

Kyle - glad you phoned the doctor. Please be totally honest and say how you feel, lay things on the line. I think you are marvellous with your early mornings, looking after the kids etc etc. Take any help offered and don't feel guilty. You are doing a wonderful job and I love reading your posts. Kyle tons of hugs. Glad you have made an appointment with your GP. Taplady thank you. I hope your DH gets better very soon. natzini, am no longer involved with Guiding but I used to run a pack of wonderful Brownies. I miss them(sometimes!!) If and when we move from hhere I will probably get involved again. Have fun with yours.
Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

  • well, my evening went well - not! drove through rush hour (grr!!) got to bowling, got in, told there was a lane - handed over my free tickets to be told we could not use them during half-term!! didn't want to pay the £21 for a game so left and kids wanted something different to me and dh so went to two takeaways and ate it at home! Never mind - enjoyed dinner though.

((((kyle)))) more hugs for you, hope you feel better soon x

    Take care all xxbbxx

Evening all and hugs and best wishes to those who need them.
Ticklemouse - you are heading into a fantastic new future and I'm sure you and the Ticklemouselets will be fine.

w**k have approved my special leave for dds surgery which is just as well as I only have ten hours leave left until November. Because i work reduced hours with 30 hours over 4 days per week my leave is calculated in hours instead of days and hadn't been added up properly until today. I am switching my day off to monday in march so will claw back some bank holidays and can also take 2 days off per month flexitime so long as i do extra hours but even so .... here's hoping that the surgery will work as i have frittered away most of this leave on vicarious ear infections.

Lovely veg stew for dinner with huuuuuuuuge veggie dumplings - I love winter food! I am seriously craving meat at the moment and dd has given me permission to indulge on Daddy Weekends :D but I am going to try to stick with it as I certainly feel a lot healthier - as does my purse

Well off to do some flying so i can laze around tomorrow :D
