Well we seem to go one paw forwards, two paws backwards with Doglet. Another v.e.t. Visit yesterday no further forwards really. But no worse, so we will take that as a win.

I have been though work stuff, sorted most stuff as far as I can now. Got rid of stuff out of the inbox and sorted various bits. Going to have to be a serious conversation with boss when I get back, need to make sure on a few things and back in with bang as have an evening meeting scheduled on Monday.

Been feeling very apprehensive about work, keep getting butterfly feeling in my stomach whenever I think about it,not really sure why? Thought I would get rid of this by prepping and getting sorted before I get back, but still got this impending sense of doom.

Have plenty to be getting on with at work, just want to make sure the goal posts haven't moved, been replaced or otherwise changed in the last week. I was only off for 4 working days and nothing on emails that claimed a panic or an issue. But hey who knows what will be done or not done when I begin. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

Hoping to be able to sort my tax out and therefore perhaps get some money sorted before the end of the month.

So plan for next week, try and get Doglet sorted, get tax sorted, see what goes on at work. Breathe and try to keep the house afloat.

Hope you all have a good week.

So oddness of oddness - boss stated I was entitled to time off and he had not contacted me on my week off because of this. Displaying human attributes ..... whatever next.

Had a wee extra windfall from getting my taxes calculated so putting that to good use, I am also buying me a frivolous but life-lasting present.

Doglet making progress by not quite right as yet.

Other matters, DH has more OT so all good but also away. Actually makes my life easier as I can just have boiled eggs for tea. Other matters family have now spoken to others and we are all of the same opinion, there is a problem but not a lot we can do about it right now other than suggest support. Will be making contact soon and seeing the reaction.

As was pointed out, I get a snap shot view and the "not normal-ness" is glaring obvious to me, but for those who deal with these people every day, it is a gradual change which you don't necessarily react to and becomes "standard"

Doesn't make me any more comfortable about the whole situation but slightly less like I am the one with alien attitude to this.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I am upset, I thought I had found a solution to work, an ageing Doglet, matters fiscal and work life balance.
I put weeks into to planning, prepping, executing it without compromising real life requirements was quite a balancing act
It didn't work and worse I have no idea why.
    Am officially FED UP
And it's raining so can't do things in garden
And no Big R money yet

I am trapped and I don't like that feeling. Nothing I want to do I can control it is all in the hands of others at the moment.

As Doglet is not so well today I want to spend so time with him,

Hugs honey, sorry to hear you sounding down but sadly know the feeling all too well myself. Anything I can do or say to help x

Must be something in the water with our HIMS as mine insisted on taking me out for lunch yesterday. That just never happens. Initially I thought about saying No as I really don't like HIM but then I thought how silly that was as things will never improve if I don't make a bit of an effort. Lunch was quite pleasant really and it was nice to see the human side of HIM.

Hope you feel more yourself soon.

Hugs and tickles for doglet and scowl from Colin :o I hope you get him sorted out, I didn't realise he was a more mature gentleman.

Poor missrir, you don't need this worry on top of everything else.

Wishing you a calm and sunny Sunday.
