So following confession time the current household debt currently stands at a gobsmackingly outrageously huge::eek:
H@lifax £10813.50 - finishes August 2016
Mortgage £120300 - repayment Due March 2037
Mortgage £205000 - interest only Due Sept 2030
B@rclays £25000 - finishes Nov 2016
S@ntander £9300 - finishes August 2014
Total:£370103.50
Cannot shift S@ntander due to amount left versus penalty versus length of deal at lower rate
B@rclays DH just got but is flexible so possibility to overpay also not too bad rate @8.7%
H@lifax is a long story and basically they can bloody well wait for it , it is NOT a priority and I begrudgingly pay it as it is. It is also 0% I just have to let that one tick along @£200 per month
The interest only mortgage is a worry , there is no method for repayment currently. It needs to be repaid or something done to change the interest only bit ... But that is phase 2
The repayment mortgage is usually covered along with other bills related to this house as it it rented But there is always the what if not tenant or no rent scenario ... You never know!
We aim to get the loans except H@lifax cleared by end 2014nothing like being optimistic is there
We will then attack the mortgage with much gusto without hesitation and aim to clear within 10 years currently these are 20 and 25 year terms.
However the biggest hurdle is to make sure we clear S@ntander just in case DH actually has his income cut by the threatened 30% ASAP preferably before the end 2012 ..... I said nothing like setting a challenge :rotfl:
Had a bit of a check up on this and realised we have done most of this .... including the pay cut (:o) so technically we are well on track with the final loan and now on Phase II of the journey with the mortgages.
So how come I don't feel any better off ....:o and actually even a bit more :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: as to what the future holds?Start info Dec11

Oh this is going to be a bit of an ambiguous post and may disappear .....
The MH issues I referenced earlier seem to be worsening and seem to be splitting loyalties ... Difficult as the outsider and I use that term quite loosely seems the rest of us are being ostracised and turned upon as deliberately ganging up on them and creating issues
So sad hearing of the latest deaths in Afgan there is such a legacy of this for us all to bear.

You are doing amazingly well with the finances, Missrlr; awesome. :T
(((Hugs))) and Good Luck with the other problem - sending positive vibes.. :smileyhea0 -
Thanks for the positiveness, we took a huge risk with matters fiscal but am really hoping this will pay off. Trying to extract information as to how to pay the mortgage, it is like pulling blood from a stone! I will succeed.
Work is hotting up (again, not sure if ever cooled off just think I am minus a bit more sensitivity in my skin its getting thicker) so feeling the pressure and hoping it will be OK not result in a melt down.
I am currently on page 67 of 151 of a fairly mamoth project .... and despite me saying it will take me 12 weeks I am getting pressure as to why this is taking me 12 weeks I ASK YOU!Start info Dec11

Well day 1 back at work was slightly nicer than anticipated , car had to be taken to body shop as numpty ran into it. So sans car for 2 days and one boss offered to chauffeur me! Also sadly means I will have to leave early to pick up said car tomorrow .... Shucks.
Other boss (more usual tyrant) was not in today. So despite having a day where I didn't get a single thing on my to do list done I got a lot done. Mostly fire fighting but hey!
And now I Auvergne returned home earlier the usual, watered the garden, chatted to next door and am currently sipping a G&T. !!!!!! the expense and my waistline. I need to do more, so mission this month is sort out exercise plan. To compensate for the G&T I am having vegetable stir fry.
I did so enjoy my 4 days off. I won deer if I can do a 4 day week on a permanent basis?Start info Dec11

Oh I am having a bit of a bad day.
Doglet had me up at 2am grizzling, standing on my head, then faffing about when I got up to let him out. I have to confess I lost my temper a bit having been dragged out of bed for 20 mins and he didn't appear to know what he wanted. So I shouted at him and shut him downstairs, then felt really mean as his bead was upstairs so ended up going down and oh boy did I feel guilty when he shrank from me and held up the paw sitting on the edge of where his bed usually is.
So Doglet was carried back to bed, where upon he proceeded to grizzle and keep me awake for another hour before farting abominably and rushing back downstairs. Cue me rushing downstairs too in case he was caught short followed by another 10 minutes dinking about doing NOTHING outside, sniffing the air (I kept my temper). Eventually got back to bed and Doglet was on and off the bed like a yo-yo. Eventually he settled on his bed and I managed about 45 mins more sleep before oh deep joy the alarm went off.
Consequentially I am in a foul mood with a thunderous headache today and feeling very upset that Doglet was clearly not right (Did strike me he may be going a bit senile?) and I could not make it better. So I think another trip to the v.e.t. is in the future.
It was not helped by "D"H lying there ignoring what was going on, offering NOTHING in the way of support and then to add insult to injury he literally climbed over the washing basket at the top of the stairs awaiting transport down the stairs to the machine not once, or even twice but THREE times today. And no he was not carrying anything else.
Work is going from bad to silly - not a lot more I can say on this here other than I am going to have to reconsider my job, possibly look at retraining and getting a grip. I have started this, signed up for a refresher online course to update some skills I have. Now need to DO the course ......
Confidently predeciting boss is going to be a blinking nuisance today and wind me up so need to be careful I don't say something in anger that I will regret. I think my tongue will be quite sore by the end of the day.
Oh and "D"H has yet to provide me with the information about mortgage payments so I can't even feel I am making progress on that matter! If he is not careful I will be snaffling the money for a slush fund not the mortgage!Start info Dec11
