Hum ,boss sent various emails last night one of which has a title that struck impending sense of doom into my very soul.

We shall see what today brings but having been up since 0530 having had dreadful dreams I am not feeling rested.

Now sure how I will cope if more gets dumped on me ......

As it is a nice day I have braved summer wear so it will be my fault when it starts blowing a gale and snowing by lunch time!

    Morning dearest one!

I don't know what to advise about your friend and the moral situation, but I would suggest standing back for a little while and doing nothing. Only because you're tired and down, things may look clearer once you're rested.

I truly hope work is not as awful as you are expecting. It's a little out of order for a boss to send an email quite so early on a Monday, but he clearly does not have a reasonable attitude towards people anyway.

    Wishing you a better day.

ps fairly confident it will not snow

Just had a really nasty experience:
I hold one to two keys for petty cash. Apparently there is £20 missing from it. So it was suggested that I return my key "to protect myself" and that I had been issuing money from petty cash when the accountant (other key holder) would have been in and so could have done that. When I pointed out I am never made aware as to when she is in / out so if I am asked and she is not present I complete the paperwork and issue refunds of monies spent.
I have given back the keys as it means I cannot be accused of anything, but really the combative and frankly aggressive manner she approached this has made me feel very upset.

    I am being precious?

(((Hugs))) No, don't think you're being 'precious'.

Office politics would feature in my vision of Perfect Hell - no idea how to deal with your latest dilemma, sorry. :o

Can only offer moral support, whilst hoping it evaporates soon - by itself (somebody else's error rectified).

Hum was told by boss to get some perspective and he thinks there has been an accounting error made so not to worry about it.

Great; that injustice is evaporating. Don't suppose the antagonistic other-key-holder has apologised yet?
Hope you refuse to undertake renewed key guardianship - unless it comes with significant financial incentive. ;)
