Well lesson went very well. Just goes to show what a vote of confidence and some quiet voice of experience can achieve. House now smells clean and have not remade bed yet. He is obviously better ( nothing to do with paracetamol and water though clearly!) as demanded chicken nuggets and chips ...

Hello my lovely, you are having a rough time at the moment aren't you.

Work sounds horrendous and I totally relate as my situation is quite similar.

OH sounds so much like mine it's scary, (as I've said before are you sure you are not me?)

Hope you manage to find some solutions to your situations soon as your stress levels are clearly through the roof. Be kind to you, even if only taking some time out to have a nice bubble bath. As to turning the voices off, I use music, plug my ipod in too loud and cut out all background noise with some feel good music, works for me.

    Hugs and warmest well wishes

Trust me there are times in the past 2 weeks when a 13 year old would have more common sense

Hello my virtual twin we should indeed continue to compare notes, if only to remind ourselves we are not mad! ;)

I need to get the stress under control. I need to get back to the gym although with DH work situation that is likely to be a luxury that goes. :o

I did find having had a really good lesson today I was singing in the car on the way back home. Had a friend over for dinner very nice but DH now complaining he is not feeling well again. Said take water, paracetamol and go to bed. No he is watching the rugby:mad:

I will be spending some quality time tomorrow job hunting, stock taking and list preparing.

The one thing that made me feel better was speaking to a friend whose hubby has had same thing, and he was exactly the same abut water, meds and getting better. :rotfl: :T it must be a Y chromosome thing.

The Cyprus issue is a bit concerning ..... I have a fear we are going to be under a deal of pressure in the UK for some time to come.

DH not drinking enough again so am leaving him to it with the warning my sleep be interrupted once he will be in the study as lodger back tonight.

And of course it being Sunday no postman

    Hey missrlr
Just caught up with some of your trials - bl@@dy hell, you've got a lot on your plate right now. Your work situation sounds familiar, I suspect we work in the same industry, but your boss and line management sound a real bunch of dysfunctional t-w-unts. Just do your best to survive it for now until you can get through the fog of what is going on with your OH.
Hope he is well soon and that is one less source of stress for you.
Big hugs and be kind to yourself in the midst of all of this.

Hello Jo91 - thanks for popping by. I promise I will make this more MSE stuff at some point when I get my head sorted.

Well work today has been slightly quieter and I had some unexpected back up from a meeting with a third party today about the job I do and how long it takes but how necessary it is.

I have 2 lots of guests staying tonight so have to canter back home pronto and sort out the house and food. Have managed to get a possible contact for a job for DH if the R word appears today in the post (no text from DH so not sure about this one).

DH is making progress but I suspect he will pull this on out for as long as possible if he can to be pathetic and wriggle out of all the day to day stuff in the house.

Aside from that I got a page from of work done (as in a page of instructions translated into actual meaningful stuff. And now I have successfully managed to get to the end of the day!!!!

Right off home to see if the S has HTF ..... fingers crossed all. Have lists of to do when the work gets out and other lists of to do when money is calculated and lists for work options and lists of the lists ...... perhaps I need a life?

Well I am getting a bit fed up with this waiting game on news for the BIG R. I went back and checked all the documentation and it says the decisions would be taken as of last Friday with notification being made in the next week. So perhaps I have a whole week of nail biting. I just want to know what the outcome is nothing more.

DH back to docs, the earth shattering observation is "viral infection" REALLY??? You don't say - I mean the complete lack of any bugs in all of the samples would mean this is not bacterial now wouldn't it. I suppose this means he is off work for a bit longer (blinking sick-note-itis I call it) and that of course will mean he is doing less than !!!!!! all at home "coz I'm poorly".

In other news, have made it through the first 2 rounds of recruitment so need to call and make an appointment .... oh boy!

Here is a quote I think we can all relate to here:

You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it."
