Thanks for that, it is an option, the problem is how would I carry 30-60 files, a laptop along with a few other items, thats the only thing I would have problems with when getting a bike.

Don't start panicing and saying it's the end of the world, you lost your license it's not the worst thing that could happen to a person and you will sort it out you just need to know what to do now.
In regards to work, could you not book some holiday time to cover you until you resit your test. You may be lucky to be able to take them both next week if there is any availability.
Money wise, could you not sell some items you no longer need to cover the costs of the tests? Perhaps find a local selling group on ebay and sell that way. Free listing this way on ebay too.
If worst comes to worst explain to your employer what has happened and tell them how you intend to sort it out, timescales etc. I think you will find them more understanding then the courts are to be honest.
I hope you sort it out, sometimes life throws a heap of carp at us and sometimes we aren't quick enough to duck out of the way, he important thing is to pick yourself up, wipe yourself off and not make the same mistake.
I will pick myself up, I will be explaining everything to my employer on Monday, I have not let them down in my time there and I wont now, I will solve this problem and let you know the outcome.0 -
I would have a concrete plan in place before speaking to your employer.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

but i do know if you do not pay your insurance premum they cancel the policy ,
Quite right but then you would think that if a DD is missed they would write to tell you so it could be sorted... banks & other institutions make mistakes too y'know

I have 5 days before my licence is revoked, so I will be speaking to my dad tomorow about the plan I have in place from my earlier post, if my dad agrees to go with the plan, I can go ahead and look for a driver for a month, will let you know how I get on.
Just for the record if I do get a driver for a month how do I go about it (legit)? If I pay them that is?0 -
Get a quote for here, maybe, http://www.auto-executive.co.uk/default.html as a starting point.
You will need to ensure that you have a reliable service and if one driver is ill the company can still meet your commitments. I have no idea how much it will cost.
Can your dad not drive you for the first week? That'll give you a bit more time.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I agree with what some others have said and maybe get a bike, big expense but if it means you can keep your job/house then it may be well worth it in long run. Either get a top box as shown or maybe a ruck sack and also some decent waterproofs.
You might find when you do get back on road insurance will jump up a hell of a lot though, still its a price worth paying if it means you still in work0 -

I have a few days so, I should be able to sort something out, I will ask my dad for the local towns but I will need a driver for the week after because I am in Birmingham all week, it is at the same location but I will be staying down there, I could take all my files into the employers on the first day and get a taxi from my hotel and back, so I would just need taking down and bringing back, I would see if I could put a weeks holiday in the following week.0 -
Didnt hastings contact you when insurance was going to be cancelled?0

Don't forget to factor in your stay in Birmingham when you try to book your theory and practical tests.
Looks like things are already getting brighter.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
