I seem already to have the egg money manager, and so am excluded from this offer. Does anyone know a way of getting round this?
You need to add one non-Egg account before 30th June.

how long does it take to credit the account as i signed up for the money manager about two weeks ago and still have not got my £15, any ideas?
The £15 reward will either be credited to your Egg Card, or credited to your Egg Savings Account by 5 August 2005.

Many thanks to the OP. I knew it was worthwhile leaving £1 in my account. I now await my 1500% interest payment. :D

I have just started to join the egg manager system, to the point of downloading the "safe". However, in the huge "small print" section, there is an implication that by passing on one's bank details to Egg, it may be that the bank can consider a breach of it's conditions has occurred. In that the dosh does not turn up for over a month, it does seem something of a risk for fifteen quid! What does anyone else think?
  • I have used the EGG Money Manager service for about a year now. I recommend it thouroly (please excuse my spelling) ;) . It saves a lot of time from logging on to differen types of accounts when you just want to check your balance. Unfortunatly I am unable to get the freebie cash as I joined it a long time ago but I would say go for it to all MSE's out there!

I registered recently and expected the £15 to show up.

Then I contacted Egg and asked how long it takes and they replied to say it can take 6 weeks to be credited!

When it appears, I'll get £15 of petrol!
    Regards

    Mark
  • It took about 4 - 6 weeks for our money to turn up.

With regards to being a risk of a security breach, once you have safely got the free money, change your passwords etc on your bank then when you log into Egg, it can't contact your bank because it has the old info. That's what I've done because I have no intention of using it via EMM, would rather have 2 windows open at the same time if I need to see the Egg accounts and the bank account :)

Very cool!! cheers guys, I am a customer of egg but would never have thought to go to them for a travel insurance quote.

I added a credit card when they upped their offer to £15. Having just queried when I was likely to receive my £15, I received this reply today:
We think Money Manager is an excellent service and to encourage people to take the time to fully appreciate it, we offer an incentive to people who have not yet tried it.

As you've been using Money Manager for quite a while, you'll already appreciate how useful it is. To be honest, you won't receive the bonus, but we'll continue to make it available to you free of charge.

Any thoughts on how to progress this so I get my £15? I'm thinking of starting by quoting the T&Cs someone kingly posted earlier. Any other advice is most welcome!
