To be honest I doubt if I'll use it, I have a system as it is and I prefer things seperate, current A/C, Savings, Credit Card.
But I shall have a look anyway.
They're separate in EMM. EMM (And AccountUnity) just logs in as you, screen-scrapes the data and presents it to you, along with handy links that will log you in to each account should you want to do more than just look at the current balance.

I have used EMM but since the A&L changed their site I can't get my A&L accounts to come up on EMM. I have e mailed them to tell them and they replied that they knew and gave me instructions to sort it but they didn't work. Is anyone else in the same position?...and what do I do to get the A&L accounts on again...they were ok before their site changed

    Hy

I have an egg card and was very tempted to use this money manager thingy but for some reason felt abit uncomfortable using it?

I feel like theres a catch somewhere as why would they wana give £ss away. I read that you get this ten quid if you sign up for the money manager but you have to transfer a balance in order to get the bonus (stay with me!) but if you transfer a balance you have to pay abit of a fee so is it worth siging up.

    Sorry for gabbin on!

The catch is you have to sign up with an Egg product in order to use it. That's the 'catch'. The presumption (on their part) is that you'll use more of their products. That's all it is.

Can anybody use EMM to access their Alliance &Leicester accounts, because I can't now A&L have changed their site. I have emailed egg and done what they told me to do but it didn't work and Istill can't get through to my A&L accounts. Am I the only one or are others affected?

If anyone else is a bit nervous about security aspect of placing all passwords to different accounts with egg, the following may help.
I sent a secure message to Egg regarding my fears. This was the response:
    "Thanks for your message.

When you enter details into Money Manager, they're stored on your PC and never sent to Egg. They're stored in a way that nobody else can read and with such a sophisticated level of encryption that it would take millions of years for even a powerful world-class supercomputer to break.

Egg would like to assure you that you?re covered under the Egg Guarantee for any third party fraudulent activity when using Egg Money Manager. This covers monetary loss for Egg and non-Egg Accounts accessed via Egg Money Manager.

Further details of the Egg Guarantee can be found on our website new.egg.com/visitor/0,,3_63245--View_1248,00.html#theeggguarantee
