    HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

I've just called PG and was told I'm already on the lowest price plan. I'm on the standard combined tarrif and was told the only way to bring the price down (by a further 2%) will be to go to online billing..

I don't mind doing this but I really want to know what other benifits I can get. The operator also told me at PG prices will be coming down on the 30th of April.

    Please can you guys advise?

All that will mean is you will recieve an 11% discount instead of 9% that you are already getting - If you phone them up and tell them that you want to go onto the online extra saver then you will get at least 15% if not more dependant on area.

You need to ask to be put on it. Also you will need to have an online account already so if its what you want sign up online before calling them.
  • Getting confused by the v2 :o The unit costs I have on my bill are different to other MSEers.

My latest bill says under Electric 'EnergyOnline Extra Saver' = 17.16p primary and 9.48p secondary.

Under gas is simply says 'Gas Plan' = 3.559 primary and 2.83p secondary.

I'm in Norweb area so 15% discount.

Gal I would really appreciate it if you could let me know if you think this is v2 or do I need to ring up?

    Thanks

It sounds like you are on V1.

Your gas prices are the same as my parents - I've quoted VAT included and you've quoted minus the VAT.

Standard domestic prices will come down then along with the standard Energy Online and Winter Saver version, however there has been no confirmation that the Extra Saver prices will come down.

Miss Penny Pincher I would recommend that you ring them up and ask to go on to version 2. Because of the area you live in you receive the same discount on both versions anyway but your unit prices would be less on v2.

Sound advice - Although the E-mail I was sent confirmed V1 Extra saver prices will decrease as well just to clear that up.

  • Are these tariffs only available to customers who pay by DD?
