Have had a bad day today so buying a chinese for tea for me and hubby. I am going to cheat slightly as i have money in my petrol pot that will be leftover so will be using that and not my budgetted spends for this challenge.

I'm reporting a 0 spend week for Sunday to Friday. Am very pleased with myself indeed (nothing to do with the fact that I've been too busy to spend)...

Morning all,
I have the same question as "at long last" - what is this second purse?
Yesterday I had to put diesel in my car but that is out of a different pot so doesn't count but I did buy a chinese but OH gave me £5 towards it so it only cost £2.39.
Sun - £2.50 papers & pancakes
Mon - NSD
Tues - NSD
Wed - £6 (Mr Ts)
Thurs - £9.80 swimming + 99p chips
Fri - diesel + chinese £2.39
Total - £21.68/£35
So I'm declaring green. Next week I'm off work :j but I have an eyesight test arranged which I can claim back from work however if I need new glasses then I will have to pay for them (credit until pay day). I will budget £100 just in case.0 -
Morning everybody
This week was purple as I spent nothing :j
Todays plan is to drink tea and playboard games with the family.
Next week I'm not sure what we are doing but I'm going to pledge my normal £5 as it seems to be working for meFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hey all
Thank goodness that week is over!!! I'm now not in work until the 31st Jan! Woop Woop!!!
Although I'm green this week, it feels somewhat fraudulent as I've had money from other budgets - e.g. had spare in food budget so actually spent £15 in pub last night... however, not this budget!
The rest of the month is now seriously tight, but should be more than do-able. I have my MOT on Monday which is the one thing I'm worried about as I've obviously had a fair few issues with the car of late. Primarily, the emissions light is still on, however when the garage got it on the diagnostics at the beginning of November, there were no faults anywhere and the light went out. It came back on a few days later and has been on ever since. I don't think the light is a fail, however I'm concerned as to whether there actually is a problem there. Ho hum, not a lot I can do till I know!!!
Sun 15 Jan: £6.50 on cakes for office on Tuesday (plus small food shop from food budget)
Mon 16 Jan: Work 7am-8pm, NSD for challenge (hmmm.....)
Tue 17 Jan: My Birthday! (28...ugh!), Work 8.15am-7.30pm, Sandwich lady £3.10
Wed 18 Jan: AL, NSD for challenge (milk from food budget)
Thu 19 Jan: AL, £3.36 cigs (carrots, celery and a lemon from food budget)
Fri 20 Jan: Work 7am-8pm (2 meetings), Starbucks £4.90
Total £17.86/£20
Please put me down for £15.60 next week pp - odd I know, but basically I have £2.60 a day till payday and am going to be trying very hard to stick to it!
Tonight should be fun - my friends have planned some sort of surprise for my birthday and all I know is to turn up at 7pm at one of their houses. I'll stay as will likely have a couple of amaretto and diet cokes (my new drink !!!!!!!!! Blame my friend!). And I know food will be involved as they said don't eat before coming over! Exciting stuff!
Have a great day all!
LC
(plan for next week while I think of it, can you tell I'm living off stores and previously prepared meals!:)

Declaring green this week. Am really pleased. Spent a total of £9.90/COLOR] so it was very close. Almost got myself a treat yesterday but it was this challenge that kept me on the straight and narrow otherwise I would have gone over.
Please put me down for £10 next week. A cheap lunch on Friday, a coffee with a friend and then one exercise class.
Well done to everyone this week.:jMortgage FreeSave £5,000 in 2020[CENTER:j0
