Hi there box of Fluffies
Haven't been around but slowly catching up. Pleased to hear alls wells with you in NZ and great news re the loan. Those rates are truly scary so every little helps.

Just watching a programme called Penguin Island all about these pocket sized penguins trying to survive a heat wave. It's both sad, amusing and happy all at the same time.
Got a few auctions ending today so hopefully a few extra dollars to add to the kitty. Three items have bids at the moment.
It's a bit nippy today so I best get moving so I can keep warm.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Well, it's a proper winter's day, rainy, windy and cold!
Doesn't help that I've developed a cough and sore throat. Fortunately today's job was moved to tomorrow so I've spent the day indoors, trying to stay warm and look after myself. Really hope it doesn't turn into anything more as I've got a full on week after today.
I made the most of being home and cooked up a big batch of pumpkin soup. I had a bowl for lunch and the rest is in the freezer for the weekend.I've taken up two pairs of my work trousers, and a pair of Mr F's jeans (although I need him to try them on before I sew the hem).
Good news, I managed to restructure the loan for the business (from 19.95% to 16.15%), saving about $40 per month.Still an extortionate APR but any downward percentage has got to be good.
I also managed to sell 4 of my items on Trademe last night, so that should be another $50 for the kitty.
Oh and just found out Mr F won a caption competition for .......
... wait for it
..... keep going

Hi Gx2, glad you could pop in.
I subscribed to your diary yesterday but wanted to get to the end before I posted. I guess you beat me to it.
Unfortunately feeling much worse. I seem to have a tap where my nose should be and a broken chainsaw in my chest!! Have been dosing myself up all day and just treated myself to a shot glass of Limoncello. Well it's got loads of Vit C in. Just watching NCIS before having an early night.
Didn't manage a NSD as had to stop at a dairy (corner shop) to buy a drink and some throat lozengers on the way home from today's job.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Sounds like we had the same idea at roughly the same time then. I read yours whilst I was laid up unwell this weekend. Thankfully it seems to be clearing now but still barking like a dog and running out of tissues for my leaky tap - :rotfl:
I like your thinking re the Limoncello - how many vitamins are in a [STRIKE]bottle [/STRIKE]glass of red wine??? :rotfl:
Seriously though with the amount of pain killers I'm taking to get rid of the woodpecker in my head, its probably not a good idea. However, if I can't sleep later............................. :rotfl:
Don't think they count as spends cos they are necessaries not luxuries.
Hope you feel better tomorrow/today - can you see I'm confused about your times :rotfl:
