Welll done victory I bet you feel great! :j :j

Yes I do, not only have I burst through the 2 stone mark but have gone down a stone number the other side ,I am buzzing and this feeling is better than anything there was lurking in my cupboards....so remember that.....the euphoria you feel when you have made such an impact on your health, BMI, energy levels, fitness, so much lovelier to look in clothes, happiness etc is worth bottling and worth a million more than any KFC:D although....(no, no,no be good:D )

Welcome skysky haven't tried WW but i'm on SW and I haven't cooked so much lovely fresh food in ages! I only work part time and struggle with the shopping bills etc but I have started going to the local market and buying fresh veg and fruit there I have found it much cheaper (in most cases) than the supermarket. :D
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D
  • welcome newbies,

well done to all the losers, victory - you are doing so well and you seem so determined, wish I could have some determination - go on all give me that kick I need to get on with it.

When I come back off hols I think I will put my weight on here to help me shift it - I am just not that brave at the moment!

    take care all,
    bbx

Go into google and look at people that are very large....should put you off that cream cake:j
Watch the biggest loser at 9pm on living TV (love all those kind of programmes can relate to their struggle)

Read anything for inspiration... I have the WW and SW around at all times...

Stick your weight loss above the oven ( I have to remind me of how far I have come)

YOU KNOW YOU DON'T NEED THE BAD FOOD...I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT AND SO DO YOU....

Find old photos of you and stick them around the house of how it was then...

    Write your food diary...

Have a bath, ring someone up, go out, tidy something up, re style your hair, go through your make up, think of what colour you want your bikini to be... think positive happy I am going to be thin thoughts not I cannot resist the temptation I am no good at this healthy eating plan lark....

Think of someone else... how surprised, happy, pleased for you they will be when you loose the weight....not if...when

Be your best friend...your best friend would not let you feel bad, would be right behind you, supporting you all the way, rooting for you and full of praise for you, I know you can do it, take your mind off it and go and do something else that will bring you more happiness than the bad foods

    Hi

I found this thread through a mention on the DFW board and would love to join if that's ok? I was on SW until I left my last job and London and am now on a DMP- so can't go to meetings which were the thing that kept me going, what with the support and the little graph thingy on the members part of the website!

Well, can't afford that, but really need to get back on the SW wagon as am running out of 'fat' clothes :) I'm not sure how much i weigh - will pop upstairs and see. Not looking forward to that!
Was on SW when pg with my ds and while I didn't really follow it, it sertainly helped with the depressive feelings about my body afterwards!

    Anyway, enough blathering!
    Will go weigh....
