Aw Honey, I'm sooooo pleased for you :j
Well done Suggs, a brilliant result (again!!!!) and well done to Lois, Retiredlady, Samcancope (refuse to type the 't) for those fantastic losses. I hope you're all suitably proud of yourselves!!
I'm afraid I have fallen off the wagon with a resounding bumpand I've decided I'm going to have a few weeks off plan (till after my holiday anyway). Will have to get back on as soon as I come home since the wedding will only be about 12 weeks away and I bought an outfit 2 sizes too small  which cost an arm and a leg so I'll have to fit into it.
Not feeling too good today so off for an early night :wave:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thanks Connie, Hope you feel better soon. Dont fall off for too long.0

Excellent news Honey - I'm so pleased. My SW consultant used to say that every now and then you need to loosen your corsets, i.e. take a break from the plan, and it obviously worked for you!

Evening all
Here's the chart for this week - well done to everyone who has lost weight this week, and well done to everyone else for sticking with it.
Slimmer of the Week goes to Suggs for his excellent 6lbs weight loss :T and both Suggs and RetiredLady have achieved their targets for this month :T
Have a good week everybody.

I would change it a little. Make the gym/squash work part of your normal daily routine. So if you do your reading and part write the eassy, AND you play squash, you can have a nice evening and dinner with your OH. I would raise the importance of your fitness to make sure it becomes part of the routine and not the exception.
I know what you mean Suggs. Usually i do see the gym as part of my routine - i go after every lecture (3 a week) and always take my gym bag to uni. The thing is, term ends in 3 weeks, so I will no longer have that routine, and need to really push myself to leave the house if i dont 'have to'.
I know it seems ridiculous to most people, but as a lazy student it is really very easy just to stay in bed surrounded by notes and books all day (and not even get dressed some days!!)
Also, if i walk up to uni and go to the gym on a day that i have nothing else to do, i feel very guilty like the gym is a 'waste of time' and i should be using the time to write essays and my dissertation (deadlines are looming!)
So i figure if i treat the gym like a reward for having done some work then it will spur me on with the work and help me fit in the gym without feeling bad for spending time away from the computer.
does that make sense???
I cant wait to have a job and a normal routine, being a student plays havoc with your head and body as you drink/eat badly and excessively and then have to spend a lot of time in lectures/library/in front of the computer, so it's hard to fit in any exercise as it takes a back seat to things like reading/writing/sleeping!! But i am re-tuning my brain and making it an integral part of my life, alongside everything else and not instead/in the way of.Moneysavinghopeful :rotfl:0 -
Well done to all the losers honey i'm especially pleased for you I know the frustration of losing and gaining that same darn pound it's like an evil curse!!
retiredlady I was interested to read you lost more on a red week than a green I also find that's the same for me although I feel less full on a red plan I def lose more and feel less bloated (I think this may be due to me over loading on the jacket potato's)!
Good luck for anyone else who hasn't weighed yet!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -
thanks for the chart lois, and well done everyone again!Moneysavinghopeful :rotfl:0

Stayed the same this week but have only managed 3 trips to the gym and had far too much to eat and drink (downside of a new fella!) so really I'm quite happy.
Exercise paying off so as long as I can keep going with that won't worry too much as long as I maintain- just don't want to put any back on.
Well done everyone on your losses - especially Suggs. You put us all to shame!Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
have maintained again, knew that I would or even have put some on after that lovely italian meal on Friday night (and the extras since!!!) I feel a bit useless as I started off so well but I read Suggs tale and it gives me hope.
I will plod on and try and sort myself out - I am still eating better than I was a few weeks ago and the 5lb is still off - so it could be worse.
Well done all you losers!
Take care bbxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
I think I need to start doing the cooking instead of the BF (portions are way too big) and stop saying yes when he says "Do you want some chocolate", he is becoming my downfall !!Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0
