Lucky you - something like that can really make your day can't it. Spend it on yourself - something frivolous!!

    Hi all

was weigh in last night and lost 1lb so missed out on the 5lb challenge by just 1/2 lb...:wall: can't beleive it. Am really gonna go for next one.

I was quite down last night about just 1lb until my OH reminded me that I had lost some before starting SW. When I worked it out it was 12 1/2lbs since middle of Jan:D I also redid my measurements and have lost one inch off each thigh and one off my hips, and fortunately none off my negligible bust:rotfl:

SO what did I do??? Bought a homemade bread off market with Cheddar cheese and Marmite ( ate every bit and it was Bl**dy gorgeous). WIll count cheese as HE and some of bread, anyone know if I can do that??? Then took kids to Mcd's for tea. Resisted food but had Mcflurry with creme egg:mad: How many syns? Tasted so good it must have been hundreds...:rotfl:

Picked up new tablets for back today, guess what side effect is? Weight gain:mad: Why can't they do one that has weight loss:rotfl: I now take 6 different ones a day all with weight gain as side effect:mad: Oh and no alcohol whilst on them!!!

Oh well moan over...until team play tomorrow!

Just watched the size 0 programme and could cry over those young girls. And that dress. I bet I could'nt even get one thigh in that:rotfl: I thought Louise looked thin before she started too...

Ooh jojil, your McFlurry was 17½ syns   and the bread would have needed to be Wholemeal if you are taking it as a HEB.

Never mind, you obviously enjoyed it, so it wasn't all wasted :rotfl:
    DAY ONE TOMORROW!!!!

SW say that only steroids actually cause weight gain (that's the official line anyway), but unofficially I do think other tablets can cause you to put on weight, but usually it's down to the fact that they make you feel much better (in less pain) and this allows you to enjoy your food more, and therefore eat more!!

I hope you're feeling better now anyway and feeling much more comfortable.

    Hi everyone

there's alot of threads this week, everyone seems to be really busy. I watched that size zero programe and was a bit disappointed, I didn't really think it would stop people from doing these crash diets.

I also went to watch that one on BBC3 Kill it, Cook it, Eat it, but they had these lambs waiting to be kill whilst people in a resturant watched and then I think that was their dinner:eek: I had to switch it off - think I could easily be vegetarian.

keatergreyhound sorry you're feeling low. I'm sure it's just a difficult phase and soon your body will catch up and you'll feel the effects again.

Think how pleased you were with your new trousers and keep that in mind as the kind of way you want to feel all the time, and remember how you feel when your having a bad day and think that if you gave up you would feel like that every day, rather than feeling the pride and confidence that you deserve.

You're doing really well from what i've read (well, from what i can remember. As a newbie i'm still finding it hard to keep track of everyone on here! but i'm trying!) and you know that we're here for you when ur feeling less than 100% and no ones going to let you feel disappointed in yourself as we all know how hard your trying and how good it will feel each time you get closer to your goal.

What's your current diet/cal intake at the mo???
Cant hurt to just mix it up a bit, have different fruit/veg to normal, a bit less of one thing you are used to and a bit more of something different, etc, and perhaps vary the kind of exercise you do, just to give your body a kick up the bum as well as your brain!!
What's your average day like at the mo???
Maybe someone else here can offer some advice as to how you can improve your routine.

hope this helped a little bit :)
