- no, it was my major fear, but that relaxes me now and I can get toned up for holiday then
I thought I push my luck - had a major naughty this evening (in fact a 2!)
Brekkie: Weetabix + Milk
Mid Morning muchines: Apple and Bannana
Dinner: Jacket spud with Chicken meat (hummmm)
Tea: Egg Buttie - Fried - to use up the oil  (1st Naughty)
Sit down this with brew: Chocolate raisans (sp) - In fact this is for a reason.... I got to find out if the chocolate gives me the allergy reaction. But, its heavy on the old Kcal though - something like 450Kcal per 100g - had a 200g bag but 3/4 went missing  - other 50g went into the bin.0 -
catmeister i think you and consultant are right - it's weird how the media are intensely focussed on underweight people when the problem is that we are mostly overweight!
Victory, your story really inspired me and i thought about your determination when I wanted some crisps in the co-op earlier. I came home empty handed thank you!
Consultant your trip sounds fab, i'm glad you went for it. As far as dress alterations go . . . when we got ours they measured us and ordered the standard size nearest to our measurements and then took them in to fit. I don't know if they paid for it but in your case given that they ordered the wrong dresses i would have thought that it is up to them to make them fit. Black sound classy and very MSE - they can be reused as evening dresses.
mike we've all go our fingers crossed that you don't break out - keep us posted . . .0 -
Hi all!
Well the scales in boots say the following:
Height 5ft 2.5in
Weight 11st 3lb
BMI 28.5 (over 25 so i'm classed as overweight)
Oh well...nothing i didnt already kinda know. Now i need to just make sure i stick to doing something about it! Wish me good luck!
I've decided not to stick to any particular diet (i lose the will to live with red/green days & counting points!) & to just eat healthy food & stop snacking on crisps & chocolate...i also need to drink more water!
So far so good as for the last few day's i've munched my way through plenty of fruit & veg.
I'm going to join the gym where my OH goes, when i get paid...he'll make sure i'm doing plenty of exercise that way! lol!Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -
Just a quickie to say thanks to everyone on this list! You are all so amazing and supportive. :A Thanks for the reassurance on the "skin thing" too.
I will stick with the diet and the gym and if at the end of the day I need surgical assistance so be it! I am sure I could donate the extra skin somewhere! (Actually that sounds really gross - but I think burns units etc. need skin for transplants?)
Felt a little down and dreary yesterday but its a new day now, and after reading through this forum I am again feeling positive and looking forward to one day looking "normal"
Marion :jWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Well not been on here properly for a week or so, apart from to post my weight loss, but off work feeling poorly today so had a bit of time to read the threads.
Ate lots yesterday and feel lousy today (although that's not why I'm off work
) so I don't actually feel like eating today, but am cross at myself as I have been doing so well. Only just over 3 weeks til I go away and am feeling I am in good-ish shape. The exercise is really paying off - I wish I could just get used to the fact that this isn't always reflected on the scales.
Seeing a new man which is great in one sense (lots of compliments and feeling good about myself because of the attention) but also better social life - drinking, eating and not enough sleep
so they all take their toll. Got to find a balance really.
As always, great reading the posts and also really looking forward to Suggs' story.
Have recorded the Size Zero programme but not watched it - will do so today from my sick bed and hopefully it will make me appreciate my curves more!
Have a good day everyone.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

ThriftyK it's good to hear you've got a new fella, but don't keep him all to yourself, we want to know everything about him

[/QUOTE]Don't say that - bored all my friends so far and always looking for a new audience  In the 'can't think of anything/anyone else' stage and finding it very hard to concentrate on anything. Nice thing is he seems to be the same

Well so far he has cooked for me (dinner and breakfast
) and I have not cooked at all. As for the cleaning.... my talents are better used elsewhere:D Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
