Hi Lois, can you put me down for the 5lb by April target. I came so close last time.

There seems to be a lot more people in the gym today, I wonder, now that Spring is the air are thoughts turning to summer holidays?

Katiepc The historical day sounds great and if hubbie is not working we will do our best to be there. They do them at ponte castle sometimes and the kids love them.

lLois I lost 1.5 lbs last week so my total is 3.5 now. Will let everyone know if managed challenge on thurs (just 1.5 to do it):D My sneeky look on our scales say yes but we all know how it can change...

Erlqueen Where abouts are you then???

Katie know what you mean about FF showers:eek: I think it's just what I've got used to. Didnt realise it was cheaper at Xscape tho:o

Well done to everyone who lost, there seems to be quite a few this week.

Suggs Your gym routine shatters me just reading it:rotfl:
Am going tonight but won't be as good as you...

Just going to have a bit of the curry I made now before I go at 7.30 otherwise I'll be starving and want to eat everything in sight:D

    jo

Forgot to say put me down for next months challenge, I need that incentive. thanks Lois

    Hi i'm a newbie

I have been doing the 'healthy' eating thing since Jan, but stopped losing weight 3 weeks ago so last week I started the slimming world diet. I have done it before and lost 2st 7lbs but of course thats all back on again. I'm not going to the club as I can't afford it but i've got all my books and i'm using the website. My goal is to lose weight for my holiday in september.

Oops forgot to say so far since Jan I have lost 15lbs.
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D

I didnt get to SW this week, have been on a course all dat yday and today and since I dont normally work on Monday and normally only work to lunch time it has knocked me for six :rotfl: Had hotel lunches too - which werent that nice actually so didnt eat a lot. I am fed up with this weight loss lark. A sneaky peak on my mums scales has me as maintaining :ekk: That'll be approx 12 weeks of maintaining. If I didnt have 3 weddings ahead, and 2 as matron of honour I would just give up. Our local equivalent of curves are having "the month of March free" so I am booked in for induction on Saturday and intend to go as much as I can all month. I had intended on joining the gym in the leisure centre but in MSE style I am going to use this free month, then join the gym :money:

A few people, consultant included, have told me to have a big blow out, forget the diet for a week then start over to get things moving again. At my rate, I will put weight on and then take another 12 weeks to lose it

Well done to all the Losers & maintainers and commiserations (Sp?) to the gainers :T Thank you Lois for the chart as usual - how are you doing yourself  Noticed you havent posted a much lately.

Welcome Gpuk  Stick with it.
  • Yay I resisted the temptation of the chocolate supply at work :) Plus I got on the exercise bike again this morning. So that's 2 good days. I'm tempted to try on my jeans that are 1 side smaller tomorrow morning, because these ones keep falling down.

Petrichor thank you for the kind words. I'm back on the site because I was going to download the budget form but I jumped on the scales before I did!

Quick, quick - I lost a pound^^ Put it down fast lois before I gain it again :D

Welcome Gpuk - congrats on the weight loss so far.

good tip on m&s jeans erlqueen - will go there next time. Petrichor I will be doing some fifteenth century cooking - not tons as we go to the pub in the evening! But I will be demonstrating everyday foods, probably doing a stew of some sort on the open fire and talking about ingredients, spices and all that stuff. JoJil, if you've been to medieval stuff at ponte in the past 12 months then we've probably already met and we just didn't know it . . . . . spooky! I saw the pork in Somerfield mag too and liked the look of it so i await your review - the gym at xscape only worked out 50p per month cheaper but i guess it's a saving. I got a deal on signing up but gyms are like sofas aren't they - does anyone ever pay full price?

Well done to all our losers this week and many thanks to Lois for her hard work in recording all our achievements. I haven't been to the gym but I had to wash my mum's dog last night which is a workout in itself. She's only a westie but resists quite strenuously. I had to shower her in the end because the bath was just not an option. She'd forgiven me by this morning but only just.

[QUOTE=petrichory(Victory - there were also pictures of a flower arrangement, a Xmas tree and a dog, cat and a framed photo; I remembered these during the night (don't sleep well). Did you by any chance load all the pictures accidentally from a file and then edit the post? Never mind, but I'm just puzzled. Hope the weigh-in goes OK for you tonight.

I am not sure, maybe, can't think now you have confused me:D :rotfl: :rotfl: I think I just put the ladies with the large rears on....:D
