Hi All
Checked in a while ago and decided to read back through the thread for inspiration (see below), then I come back and those other photos have gone!! Were you told to Victory?(surely not). By the way I hope my other post didn't upset you, when I was just reading back through it didn't come across as I meant, but I'm glad you managed to get some size16s eventually.
Well, I have lost 1.4lbs and any other week I would be very pleased but it means that I have failed to reach the 5lb target for this month, so it's mixed feelings for me as I have missed by 0.4lb; those 2 crappy weeks came back to haunt me:mad: .
I'm not sure whether to put myself down for the new challenge although I must admit, that by doing it last time really inspired me during the last two weeks, but I just hate to fail especially when I had been so good and I don't know that I could keep it up for another month. I'll give it serious thought though and come back if I feel up to it.
Congratulations to everyone who have lost :j and keep it up, and keep going to those who haven't been so fortunate
xxxx :wave:I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Suggs wrote:Are we doing a new challenge for March/April? Easter Monday is 5 weeks? Shall we try for 5lbs by the Monday before Easter? and then celebrate with a little of what we fancy? Any takers?
I'm up for this, I'll be happy to lose 5lb for then.
I've lost 2lb this week:j :j I'm happy with that as I thought I hadn't lost any. When I have my work clothes on I feel great as my trousers are starting to get looser but when I but my jeans on they still feel tight.
Well done to all the others that have lost or maintained, and anyone that gained remember you can start again tomorrow.0 -
Hello All,
Well done to the losers and maintainers, and tomorrow is another day to any gainers (we're all allowed a blip or two aren't we)?
I've lost 3lb this week, which means I've now broken through the 12st barrier - at last!!!!
The gym is definitely starting to have a positive effect, and my usual routine (as others' are posting theirs') is:
15 min/1.5km cross trainer, 4km bike (aiming for 9 mins time), 20-30 mins treadmill, and I finally ran last Friday and today for 5 mins at a time! I haven't run anywhere since I was bout 13, so it's been a long 27 years to get fit enough again. I then did a half hour weights and 20 mins abs session. I do 3 times a week, and add 30/40 mins swimming afterwards on a Wednesday.
Even when I've maintained weight I've still lost inches - I've now lost 5 inches off my hips.
Put me down for another 5lbs by Easter - I need all the targets and pressure I can get to keep me motivated. Aiming to keep losing rather than maintaining as much as I can - aren't we all?
OK, now the hard part because I'm off to dish up the family's tea of meatpie and mash, but I'm having a slimfast - yay! That's the hardest part of this diet, if I didn't have to cook for 4 other people it'd be a walk in the park. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
