Awww - thanks suggs, that is nice.

    Hi all,
I didn't post my weight loss last week as I didn't go to my weight watchers class (had this bloomin cold that has been going around).

Hi all. I'm so glad to be back, not least because it means the end of a bout of this flu-type thing that's doing the rounds in these parts.

Welcome back consultant, glad your feeling better. I guess this bug must due on my doorstep pretty soon

Lovely to have you back Consultant and Suggs thanks for the Valentines Wish. I am not into Valentines and DH has agreed not to do anything. Actually managed to get into Pilates Class tonight not full as everyone is out not at the Gym. We got married 2 years ago and forgot our 2nd wedding anniversary typically us.
Anyway off the gym tonight and will book into next week twice then no excuse for not going.
Hope you are all having a nice night :heartpuls :heart: :lovethoug :heart2: :lovethoug

Well do much for my increase in exercise in February. I've got a chest infection, which, when combined with asthma means even walking to the loo results in full scale breathlessness! Attempted to walk to post box with kids earlier, made it half way up street and had to turn and come home  Just tried washing floors and have had to come and sit down to catch my breath. Aaaaahhhh, no time for this, wanted to go swimming tomorrow

if Im tempted sometimes, I give in, enjoy the moment and sign up for the Day One club :)

This is exactly my thinking - I've only been on my diet for a blink of an eye, but I'm determined to not let it interfere with my social life - day 1 of the diet I had plans to go to a restaurant, so I went and enjoyed myself! I go out for eats around once a week, and have maintained this - yes I would lose weight faster if I stopped, or was careful about what I ate when out, but then I would feel so deprived I would want to come off the diet. Similarly I don't want to get to my target weight, then suddenly go back to eating out and balloon up - at least this way I should realize when I get to the lowest weight my body can maintain whilst being slightly social.

This is why requesting a toblerone for VD (not venereal disease - the other VD!) is actually beneficial for my diet :rotfl: H delivered it to me at work - 530 cals but I've only had one piece so far (44 cals, too much fat) so doing well! Might have to leave half of it here before I skulk home and scoff it all in one mouthful tho! :EasterBun

    :smileyhea to you all...

Keater - Are you having lots of water?

Hi Keater - just to echo Honey - water, especially hot can help so I'm told. Other than that, all bran loaf is a winner! If it's been over 3 days you should at least give NHS Direct a call (0845 46 47) just to check it out, and maybe they'll have more advice... Have you tried medication such as senokot?

I'm sure some oldie contributors don't seem to be on here but I'm terrible with names...

It's official, Suggs you're a legend! Thanks for all the info - I always love reading about other people's gym routines! I think you must be a lot stronger than me - I usu spend 30mins + cool down on first machine then whatever I have time for after, plus a quick row - and always go home with a sore b**! Tallgirl also is a trooper! :T :T :T for both your heroic efforts - maybe we should set up a Weight Loss olympics - bagsy the egg and spoon! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh no Im not :D but thank you anyway. I did my double session last night. 20 min cycle Level 12 (331 cal) 25 min Cross Trainer Level 10 (506 cal) then an aquacise class, hard work to be honest. but all done. :j Tonight it depends, might nip to the gym while Mrs Suggs drives over or I might wait in, it depends on when she leaves her house :)
