    Don't worry Jo, it's probably not as bad as you think. Most fruity yogs are syn-free, or at least very low syn. Which ones have you been having? The same does apply for fromage frais and cottage cheese, so be careful, but if the fat content is only around 1% I don't think you've have done any harm.

    It's official, Suggs you're a legend! Thanks for all the info - I always love reading about other people's gym routines! I think you must be a lot stronger than me - I usu spend 30mins + cool down on first machine then whatever I have time for after, plus a quick row - and always go home with a sore b**! Tallgirl also is a trooper! :T :T :T for both your heroic efforts - maybe we should set up a Weight Loss olympics - bagsy the egg and spoon! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :hello: to all the newbies love to hear how everyone's getting on ;) Anyone else thinking bikini weather is just too far away?

    As my mini target is a week today, I had a cheeky weigh in today (I know, turn me over and spank me thin... I wish!!) and I am down to 11 1 - woohoo! And I have a sneaky suspicion this will descend by at a lot as scales flicking, and my scales don't seem to do 13lbs - (I know, must get to Boots to find out the truth! Especially as it's a 3 mile cycle - do me the world of good!) However this is def the week of no exercise as I'm still ill and if I'm better will be decorating all weekend so we shall see...
    If you don't have anything nice (or constructive) to say... DON'T SAY IT!

    Good Morning! I too have a long way to go.:eek: :o:o

    What I found that worked for me in the past was - after sticking to the plan for several weeks I would start to lose my resolve. I would then plan a "non diet day". On that day I could have what ever I wanted, whenever I wanted it.
    I found that I really didn't go all that mad!:T But it felt good knowing that I could if I wanted to, and I felt more on track the next day. My food of choice was always a pizza - about 60 syns!! And even more strangely when I did have one of "my special days" I never put on weight that week!!

    Morning retiredlady, as someone who has been going a year and still has a looonnngggggg time to go. I learnt a valuable lesson from this forum. I am not so harsh on myself, so if Im tempted sometimes, I give in, enjoy the moment and sign up for the Day One club :) My vice is starbucks and since I found that a skinny latte is not bad tasting it makes my life even better.

    Does anyone know where I can foind out the calore value for the skinny muffins? its not listed on starbucks website?

    Suggs- What kind of muffin -they are on the SW syns website - although I wont be able to tell you the calories, the syns should be a good indication whether they are bad, really bad or eek :eek:

    Ok, checked a few, I can confirm that in terms of syns they are double eek :eek: :rotfl:

    Blueberry skinny muffin 16.5 syns
    Chocolate and Vanilla 17 syns
    Lemon poppy seed 19.5 syns
    Peach and raspberry 14.5 syns
    White chocolate and strawberry 29, yes 29 syns :eek:

    Go on, tell me your fav is white choc and strawberry :rotfl:

    Actually I love the Giant Choc Chip Cookie, but thought going to skinny muffin were better. I did realise that 'skinny' meant less than 5% fat, but could be full of sugar, but still :o

    I expect you to saythe cookie is better than the skinny muffin now :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Never mind I will have to find something else to nibble when in starbucks :)

    I havent gained or lost this week so im still the same. No progree either in the 'going' dept and im starting to get worried
    Ive got the ww points converter saved on here and it asks for fat. Does that means Sat fat or normal fat per portion?

    Suggs - the choc chip cookie is 27 syns. Have one, but stick to one and not every day. A little of what you want does you no harm and we have to have treats every now and then. You are doing so well and the exercise will have the cookie burnt off in no time!

    Keater - maybe you need to see you GP? Have you had problems with this before? Are you eating lots of fruit and having lots of water.

    Its a horrible feeling, I can sympathise as an IBS sufferer. Sometimes I feel like if someone stuck a pin in my belly I'd end up on the moon, like a balloon being popped :rotfl: Others would argue I'm there most of the time anyway :rotfl:

    I,ve been eating low fat toffee (morrisons) and rhubarb mixed with nat yoghurt to make it go further. I chop my own fruit into it so at least that was good.

    Aiming for 5-a-day managed it for 3 days, which is good going for me.

    Kids have eaten 5-a-day no problem, no chocolate in house so they moan and then reach for fruit bowl:T (they're better than me:o )

    Suggslike your work out. I usually do 10 mins on bike, 15 on the sideway stepper thingie, 15 on treadmill. I can't run due to back problems but have just started up-hill levels. Aiming to get up to 60 mins in total over next few weeks. Can't go today cos got to wait in for gas man, no heating:eek: ,:eek: . why is when they say between 8 and 6 they alwaysturn up at 6? Where do they go the rest of the day??:confused:

    It means saturated fat.
    If the saturated fat isn't listed then just half the normal fat content and use that number.
