It would appear I'm not the only one struggling with BG click energy then!

No Katie, you are not at all. The thing is when I joined in March/April last year customer service was appalling, then over the summer and the later months of last year I was getting replies to emails and stuff quite readily, after the new year customer service seems to have gone down the toilet again.

Erikin, as you say these headlines of "Energy Prices Falling" are a bit of a misnomer, for people who are already pretty savvy with which companies they use to get the better deals. The price falls are not going to effect a lot of people on MSE, they dont affect me in the slightest.

The falls are usually on the standard tariffs, which are also usually very expensive. The standard tariffs must quite frankly subsidise all the specialty products like Click Energy.

Another thing that annoys me is that on the house website the original Click prices are not even shown anymore, they should be really in my opinion.

how long will click2 last? The last 2 British Gas Click Energy tariffs did not last very long, less than 6 weeks on both occasions i believe. If anyone has the exact information please correct me. I would keep an eye on your unit prices if you are a click energy customer. I heard that you used to get fined for not providing a meter read every quarter, and with the new click 2 tariff it's £5 per statement. I'd be looking elsewhere

eh? Do you mean that last click energy tariff, which was in place from Spring last year until January this year? Or the current click 'one' rates, which came out in January and aren't changing for the forseable future?

    Stormy, try https://www.house.co.uk/click ;)

Thanks Trippled, I am not sure what wills is on about either, Click Electricity for me has been the cheapest for well over a year and at the moment I can save about £8 a year by switching, not worth the hassle.

I just wish BG where less devious (in things like upping DDs for no reason) and better at replying to quieries. The prices for Click, I can't really fault and the clickenergy site when working is very usefull for tracking consumption etc.

    :)

    Bloody British Gas

I've just had my bill and although I applied for Click Energy in November I haven't been changed over!

I was also supposed to be getting a credit for changing my electricity to them - have I got it? NO!

Its a good job I haven't got any relevant paper work with me otherwise they'd be getting the brunt of my annoyance! I might have calmed down when I get home in six hours?

    I've been Money Tipped!
I called BG yesterday with a question about Click 2. I spoke to 3 people none of them new anything about it. What a shambles.

I am on there price guarantee 2007 that ends 31st March. I had a letter saying do nothing and you will be put on the replacement plan guarantee 2008. I don't want to the prices for that are sky high. I just wanted to ask could I please go onto Click instead. Nobody could help!!! Rubbish.

It is interesting to see the current battle between the companies to come out with the best rates.

British Gas did quite clearly say it wants to have the most competitive tariffs on the market. I wouldn’t be surprised to see still further reductions to Click Energy to make it the best online deal when all the puff has settled.

Stay or move!! I shall wait for the dust to settle before making any decision.

Agreed, I shall do the same. I just wish they would bloody refund my massive outstanding credit. :(

bootman, you will need to switch to click 2 online once your price protection offer has expired.
