    Hi Everyone,

Just to give you an idea of how I am making my transactions:

    I am adding funds to my paypal account in £1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.05.

I have added 9 transactions of these to my paypal account for today. I will reverse these payments to my bank account once they appear in my paypal account. :) I think they will appear in 4 working days. So I assume they will show on my statement by Friday.
has that been recognised by save the change though?
    Yes Your Dukeiness :D

This is my first time trying to add funds to my paypal account. Although I have used my paypal account previously to pay for ebay items.

Now, the thing which i'm not sure of is: Does the payment type need to be DEB or DD or can it be both in order to get the change transferred to the savings account? This isn't clear for me at the moment.

As I have paid previously for my ebay items, I've checked my statements and most of them appeared as DD under payment type.

So anyone's comments are welcome on this issue.

after doing some checks myself on my paypal account, I realise that any payments made from Bank Account are considered as Direct Debit (DD) and hence will not be considered for STC because the visa debit card isn't being used.

Payment of ebay items will need to be linked to the Debit Card which will show as (DEB) and not Bank Account which will show as direct debit (DD).

Unfortunately Adding funds to paypal will only be made from Bank Accounts and not debit cards. Therefore, STC scheme will not work! And I'm happy I didn't waste my time and money on the streets for the 9 transactions I made today for adding funds on paypal! :)

I am happy I realised this now rather than later to save the change for February! ;)

A Direct Debit is not 'using your card' (the premise behind the promotion) hence I wouldn't rely on any DD's counting towards the STC amount.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

I'm going to pay off my Goldfish credit card with my Lloyds card in bits and pieces (all ending with 01p of course) but does anyone know if there's a minimum they will accept - would they go for £5.01? Or even £2.01?

This is going to do my head in. I dithered today in M & S, between buying two juices @ 1.35 each, reduced to two for £2, or one similar-ish but larger juice at £1.55 - which was going to save me most if I did the STC route with the cheaper? It's also going to alter my lunchtime eating habits - I'm not looking for the sandwich I actually like, it's the one with the lowest pence.
