  • Do we know when they are going to give us the matched £50/£100?
  • I think all this radar stuff is a distraction. I'm of the opinion they stuck the £50 limit there entirely because they suspected some enterprising souls would figure out how to get limitless matching funds otherwise and would attempt to do it.

Bear in mind that the amount they're offering is the same amount that the Halifax is offering outright for people to transfer their accounts to them. I think they've taken us into account when they thought up this promotion.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

This should answer your question it's from the t&cs.

    2. Matching funds for February purchases will be credited to your nominated savings account before 1 April 2007 and for March purchases before 1 May 2007, providing that an eligible savings account is still open and you are still participating in the Save the Change scheme on the date that the matching funds are credited.

Oh a separate note has anyone else had an automated call from their fraud dept? I got one yesterday and had to confirm 5 transactions I'd made......all of these were the £1.0X transactions to my MBNA card.
I got one yesterday the first call i put the phone down you dont expect to be greeted on the phone press any number to continue. I rang TSB and give them the phone numberto see if it was proper it was. They rang back a few hours later. I also have done a lot of payments to MBNA.

  • Hi just in case anyone gets their card blocked. The best dept to call is the fraud dept the number that lloyds advertise is 08709090952 but this is expensive, however the geographical number is 01702 278274. This gets you straight through (and avoids India which caused me all sorts of hassles) and they should be able to remove any block on your account.
    Hope this helps

I don't think they will look for 'baggers' not since they started advertising their scheme on TV. I am going for the £50 limit ,then going back to CC 0% purchases until 1St March.

  • I would like to thank MSE for informing me of this offer. I already had a debit card and savings account with LloydsTSB, but they never wrote, phoned, emailed or let me know in the branch about it. Anyway, I have almost reached the £50, mostly by purchasing my petrol in £2.01 lots instead of £10 or £20 at a time. So I am getting my petrol for about 1/2price.
