paulus1967 wrote:I find that the quickest way to get my 0.99p's into my savings account is to pay MBNA credit card upto a maximum of 15 transactions a day on my card and 15 transactions on Jane's card (partner) if for any reason i forget the number of times i used the card i just ring up to get the card unblocked (0800 096 9779) and use option 1
Please be aware that I did block my card and they would not unblock it on the number you qoute and said I would have to go to my branch and ask for them to lift the 15 times a day limit!
I did this via 08453000000 number and asked for them to connect me to my branch. My branch said they did not know why this is and are calling me back....ooops!!! will let you all know what happens!!!.....
OK I am back
They would not unblock card or allow any more than 15 transactions in a day. Please take care not to leave yourself stuck without a card for the rest of the day!Andyboy :idea:0 -

I overdid it at mbna and got my card blocked - I rang up and got through to a really friendly woman in their fraud section!
I explained why and I was doing it, and she said "so THATS why i'm getting all these calls today!" Told her about the sprouts at Asda and we had a laugh!
Card unblocked, no problem0 -
I'm overdrawn, but I thought I'd register anyway, for the few days in the month when I'm not.
Anyway, having registered I was surprised to see entried appearing in "Transfers and Payments".
Can't figure out what's going on here. Every day I get an entry under "Transfers and Payments" - "Save the Change" payment due: correct amount for the payments I've made - due date: today's date. But nothing appears in my Online Saver.
So are they transferring savings or not?£2 coin savers club: £1.49
