I tried to buy petrol at the pump at tescos this morning but it said on thge screen that my card wasn't valid. I assumed that my card had been blocked so I phoned the number to ask. The guy said that it wasn't and that it was a lloyds system error and that theri server should be up and running in an hour. A few hours later I tried it again and it said that the still isn't vaild. Phoned up again and got through to the indian call centre. I asked to have my card unblocked but then they left me on hold for over 30 mins. eventually had to hang up. Any money that I do get from STC will probably have to go towards the phone bill for calling them.
Has anyone else had this trouble?0 -

Just spoken to LTSB as I was unsure whether or not I was registered......
You need to be registered for PhoneBank for them to see the Bill Payments but it is listed on there....NOTE however you will not be able to see it on your Bill Payments screen via Internet Banking - it is purely visable from the LTSB end.... Hope that clarifies....What should I put in here that won't upset people.........0 -
Hello, I am a very new newbie!!
Thought I would update and answer some questions.
Goldfish cards and paying off, yes they will accept £1.01, that was aquestion from Paulus1967.
Tesco pay at pump, will only accept one transaction a day!!
I was lucky that I already had Lloyds current and savings account and internet banking.
I started my transactions last Friday morning, went to my bank at lunchtime and registered the card, checked in the evening and it was registered.
All my Friday and Saturday transactions hit my current account on Monday with transfer to the savings acoount today. I have even got the tranactions before I registered the card as they didn't hit the account until afterwards.
I am mainly getting there with paying Goldfish and also opened Egg account. Am having to do a combination of 7 or 8 transactions a day as started late, but will be a doddle for March.
Does anyone know how we enter for the £100 prizedraw that Martin talks about and what evidence we provide?0 -

-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -

I was told the same account was provided with Visa Electron and I couldnt get a cheque book, I have a Visa Debit card and a cheque book......0 -

Yes, my 16 year old used his card on Monday when we finally found out that the STC was listed in his transfers and payments. We checked his account today and it was there - £1.04 paid to the local supermarket and 96p to STC and 96p had been paid into his savings account. So, yes it definitely looks like it's working :j0
