    Just for info guys....

I've spoken to someone at Lloyds who says the normal number of transactions allowed per day is 6 (I know I've way exceeded this) but I'm just passing on what I've been told.

Also they said if your account is blocked and you ring to unblock it then it won't be blocked again for 31 days.

Hope this is helpful to all you moneysavers!

Take it from one who has tried this and In my case it is 15 and then card is blocked until next day.
  • Does any debit transfer to a savings account work? I have an icesave and want to know if debit transfers to that will qualify the same as Egg?

I suggest you try it with £1 first of all. My guess it will come up as a BACS transfer.
  • Hi,

How do you know if your card has been blocked? I started this last week, and sent 5 payments from my egg money. all 5 have left my LloydTSB account but only 2 have arrived in my egg money.

    Has my account been blocked?

    Thanks in advance

No, Egg are just very slow at showing them in your account. If your account was blocked, the payments would never have left your LTSB a/c.

No - it's the usual 3-5 working days it takes all those electrons requests to wend their way from one bank to the other.

so dose it take the £ from my current account and put it in my saver account then match it in my savers account?

if so i need to make sure i have ££ in my current account yes?

    eg

    if i buy a 1p item

it takes 1p for item + 99p to savings account?
  • Thanks guys,

I think I'll do another 5 or so transactions today then :)

You make (e.g.) 3 x £1.01 transactions in a day. At the end of the day, LTSB will withdraw a further £2.97 (3x99p) and place it in your savings account.

You must be in credit, not merely have credit available (the difference between being above £0, and having some approved overdraft)

    Hi Everyone,

Just to give you an idea of how I am making my transactions:

    I am adding funds to my paypal account in £1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.05.

I have added 9 transactions of these to my paypal account for today. I will reverse these payments to my bank account once they appear in my paypal account. :) I think they will appear in 4 working days. So I assume they will show on my statement by Friday.
