Then why ask such a silly question. You obviously prefer doing nothing while ignoring all the features that kit has. You also wish to ignore all the positive reviews because you know better than everyone else...................tells me something about you, Jack

    ...'scuse me ???

...oh, sorry, you meant someone else, not me :D

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

    NT4 was NT4, Windows 2000 was NT5 like XP

So acting silly and then coming back to try looking clever hasn't worked

    Routers are usually 192.168.0.1

Ferraris are usually red, but my red router is blue .... never mind.

Dixie Dean was your router actually 192.168.0.1 ? if your pc actually connects to the internet then I suggest using a command prompt(windows key + r, then type cmd, and then issue ipconfig /all and look for "Gateway" then you will find your router address in the form 192.168.x.y (some may say 10.w.x.y or even 172.16(-31).x.y RFC 1918 defines private address spaces, but we won't even touch on IPv6 since it is not yet in widespread use)

It was the 192 one but 1.1 at the end. Now struggling with the password!

Look at any labels on the router. Sometimes the default details are there. :)

Or look out any paperwork you got from your ISP when you got the router - might be defined on there.

You could reset the router to factory defaults, but I would not recommend that unless you know what the settings are for MAAF ie the usename and password for the connection, I don't suppose you still have the documentation sent to you with the router? plus there is no guarantee that the defaults are admin and admin. (or admin/epicrouter) . Does the router have a sticker on it saying which model it really is (oh and look see if there is a password on it too , often on the underside)
