Good thanks!!! But much easier to stay in the study working all day!! :-)

Just briefly checking in as have to be up early doors tomorrow:

    - 20 minutes fast walking in cold fog
    - did expenses (£200) and mileage (£200) so will put those against CCs. Mileage is from months ago so really pleased I have finally submitted the claim, that alone is 3 tanks of fuel!!
    - childcarer did me a good turn and did some shopping. But it was £30:eek: even though, bless her, she bought basic cheese, yoghurts etc. am not complaining as she is a star but its certainly not a LSD!
-£7.50 spent at event that DDs were in this eve
    - DD finished her homework :j:j:j she has worked SO hard. Only hope she gets the levels she deserves.. Fingers crossed.
    - WAH so had heating on but no commute costs and nice to be here when DDs came home. Can't have it all.
    - did some PADs.

Think that's it for today. Will try and check in tomorrow!

Well done on getting the mileage and expenses done! It all helps.

Hope you are feeling a bit more upbeat soon!

Thanks jwil yes I do and although out and about today am travelling back now with a day mainly working at home to look forward to tomorrow. Given this extremely parky weather think that's the best thing. Lordy it's cold.

Have spent money on 2 coffees, using my Bite card so £2.80 and had to give DD1 money for a taxi as absolutely no other way to get her to her scouts event. When she comes back will see the damage. Also our regular delivery of fruit, milk, eggs and meat will arrive but have already accounted for the damage. Yes..£87. Bizarrely though still well under half of my grocery budget for the month and will have plenty into next week. Then off on hols on Friday...so should beat it AND avoid getting loads of Xmas stuff. As you all know, groceries are my weakness and being under in a Xmas month just shows me I can do it.

All good. Just getting home for hopefully a large glass of wine and some more lovely cinnamon toast. Had some waiting for me when I got up this morning...(it's my birthday!:-))

Hope everyone is good. Have work to do so maybe will have to stay off forums this eve :-(

    X

Reminds me of a friend who was so desperate to get away from a horrible interview experience, he got on the wrong train, going in completely the wrong direction and had to get off at the next station and return to the scene of the crime.

    It's made me smile anyway.

Love it Granny. That's me! I have been known to sail on past my stop, into Wales, yakking into mobile ( for work) and then have to catch another train home. Ridiculous..:o

I did indeed have cake. Yummy chocolate cake made by DDs and childminder! :-) and DDs got me some great presents. This year OH even managed to leave me 2 lovely presents. ( Big improvement on last year when I got zilch..not even a card...hmm. bit of a miscalculation on his part :rotfl: ) Low key spends present wise but SO thoughtful and full of meaning so very MSE birthday :D

I also decided to do my urgent work tomorrow.. And not blemish my birthday. So am now relaxing and amazingly haven't had that glass of wine yet. Oh well I can now have. 2 tomorrow!!:j
