Unfortunately not an option as I will have a couple of boxes to take to and from the hotel. I think MSC it is then.
Brizzle - meal sounds lovely

With echoes of Piq here..we have decided to give someone who sounds very nice, first refusal..she is viewing on Saturday, and give her 24 hrs to decide before more viewings. She doesnt know this but it feels morally right to do this. So we have sent holding replies to the other 2. Not sure that's a completely MSE stance..but it feels the right thing to do..the advert was only posted yesterday!
Today was a pretty good day. But I did spend £13 on a bunch of flowers for someone who is leaving work! Oh well..
Am going to start looking after myself again. Feeling very sluggish. Will have gone for a run by the end of the weekend..I promise!!;)
Hope everyone is Ok. Looking forward to a good diary catch up this weekend..talking of which how is the very special Mrs PG? Has anyone heard from her recently?

Hmm..no run as yet..must do that tomorrow.
Will have to spend tomorrow. DDs need new school shoes:eek:
Today has been very productive with OH doing DIY around house in anticipation of a lodger appearing at some stage. We also have bids on 3 Fleabay items..which is OK but there are 10 without bids which makes me wonder if I listed them with too high a starting price. There is 7-8 days to run tho.
Scores on doors are not great. Still a bit over £9k which is really cheesing me off.
What else? Eating DD1s Food Tech meal...rather good and very pleased not to have to cook this eve. Much too tired for that!:rotfl:
Think that's it.

Hi Brizzle, good luck with the lodger, I think it's really nice you've you've given her first refusal and been honest with others, good Karma comes around :j As for the running, I've just started back after literally years avoiding it and I really feel better for it after only a month. I've doubled the distance I can go without wanting to throw up  and have even lost a few poundsOnwards and Upwards

Thanks I2U. I will get out tomorrow for sure!
Just spoken to another really nice potential lodger...gawd this is hard but we are sticking to our guns. This person also sounds very lovely though, so maybe another contender if the first one doesn't want it/we all seem a hideous fit.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ashton-court/ 9am every Saturday, Brizzle xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Hi satchmo...how are you? Good I hope?
Yes this would be good but it's the other side of the city from where I live (6 miles at least I'd say, maybe 7) and I would hate to drive before I run! But a good one to interperse with some other runs I think. It's a stunning place to be, and it has deer to look at too!!:D
Just thinking of all the money we could get from having a room let out..barking why more people don't do it..especially when they are in debt. Now kids are older we can manage it too ( I think!). Am thinking it's a good way to get back in control of the household finances but also, a la Mrs Tilly, put it all, when we are DF, towards the mortgage.
Off now to dream of being DF and MF!!:rotfl:MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Good luck with the lodger, let's hope she's the one. At least you have one in reserve which is no bad thing.
Here's hoping you get into the running, I know you love it, personally, I think you're mad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but if it makes you feel good, then it's the thing to do!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I've had a lodger before (albeit ended up being my sister in the end lol) and if you've a big enough house I think it's a great idea. I'd do it again if my current house were big enough
good luck with getting a good one
As for running -good luck I think half the battle is getting out to do the first few and getting a good routine goingyou can do it! Xx
