    Thanks beanie.

Not as good a day. Had to run on fumes but got back to nasty horrid T@sco so could use a 5p off litre voucher I had. Never go there usually but couldn't pass it up. Saved £2.54 spent £75 on fuel.

Also bought lunch £3. Should take something in but never seem to. Have also just ordered loads of baking stuff for weekend, did get £15 off as its my 3rd Wait£ose order so not to be sniffed at but even so....we are baking for charity so it's all in a good cause but the bank account is suffering. Sigh. Just hope get paid for the van hire soon and OH's OT piles through..despite tracking all the spends there never seems enough at the end of the week! Just tired I guess. Work is in 6th gear permanently..

    Hope all are OK.

    Hello all

Not feeling am around much as too too much on at work. Anyway tis the weekend so I can drop to a steady 4th gear:eek: DD2 being pretty hard work but think its tiredness..first week back and she is not sleeping well. Any ideas for a 10 year old with a healthy imagination??

Today was a mixture. OH has worked very hard today but now out for a few pints. I know he has also bought beer for an event tomorrow. I haven't bought a bean but got a food order which I mentioned before. So not a cheap cheap week. I am behind on the M@neywhizz accounts but basically my current account is shot and I am not sure why. I suspect...well I suspect it's because I started a budget in June based on spare income for debt repayments..but I didn't start on £0 if you see what I mean as I had an small OD.. I do need to get to the bottom of it. Anyway I am definitely watching every penny so it's no bad thing! And some will be cash flow as I wait for expenses etc to be paid.

Used up rest of my M&S gift card on more school uniform so that's all for free. Must cancel the M&S current account now I have spent the goodie bag. Plus some tech support I had to get out to sort out DD1's phone upgrade..she has a new phone for £7.50 a month instead of the previous £15. She is delighted, so am I! :T

More bids on 4 items on EBay. £38 in bag but still a way to go to get to £250! :rotfl: Must try harder. Lots of lookers and watchers though. Some luck on selling CDs ( but not books) on Ama@on too.

    Think that's it.

Thanks Happy- how are you honey?

Feel perkier today..not sure why as current account still miserable. Spent £4 today as didn't take in lunch. Will definitely do it tomorrow although when you leave the house at 6am never the top thought!

Up to almost £80 on ebay bids. Thrilled. And still 2 days to go. Just hope OH calculated the postage correctly! A few more CD sales too. A way to go until we get to £250 though. Will try to sell the mobiles..any suggestions folks or just try some of the sites via MSE?

What else? Oh thinking about renting a room out in our house. Still need to speak to OH but think he will be up for it.

OPs seem to have crunched to a halt. Will try and get back on the straight and narrow in next fortnight? After all want to be DF by end of 2013!!

  • I can recommend renting a room - Monday to Friday works really well but we've also had someone staying for 2.5 years :rotfl:

On the lunch front, can you make extra dinner and take with you for lunch?

    Best wishes Tilly
