Yes think it could clear £300 pm based in what Gumtree is saying and more if we did food. It's a good sized room and we are close to bus routes etc. . Of course it's all tax free too:AMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Yes I could and I need to be more organised. Looking forward to making lunch actually as had such as carp lunch today realised had much nicer food in my fridge. Just bit of an office nomad at the moment so hard to get into a routine!
Re the room..yes we have talked about this before I think and you gave me some lovely very helpful advice. Think we will do it...just need to know its someone we can trust. Re the mobiles - I sold an old blackberry on eb@y and managed to get around £80 for it - just take some good photos and do a good description. I am convinced you make more that way than any sort of mobile recycling site.

Has been lots on in RL so havent been about. Hope everyone is OK.
So recent successes
- £150 from sales on Amazon and EBay and more to list
- study redecorated using up old cans of paint from the loft
- new clothes from lovely neighbour
- new evening dress for a v posh work event for £13 from Ebay! yay!
- new childcare arrangements are working so far..resulting in big savings
- OH got quite a bit of OT..all helps
- more hires for the van
-99% sure we will advertise a room for a lodger..then will see if we get any interest
So making progress. Still can't quite break the £9k barrier and pretty worried about the viability of the NYE goal..but need to focus now work has eased up a bit!
