The girls are sweeties thanks, Brizzle - how are yours? The scooters are fantastic, although DD2 definitely prefers DD1's scooter - probably because she has spent more time on it. They are identical apart from the colour!! So there is still a bit of sobbing when we go out, but the older DD is very soft hearted and generally gives DD2 what she wants to keep the peace. The sharing is most commendable, however when DD1 offered the brand new scooter to the rough and ready boy from up the road who wanted to do stunt scooting on it, I felt maybe I had been too successful in getting her to share! :rotfl:
The great thing about the scooters is being able to go somewhere, it costs nothing, the girls feel like they've had an outing, and i get a bit of exercise. I can't tell you how many park trips/ walking trips i have done having to carry DD's/ tricycles/ various bits of equipment/changing bag back to the car. And as soon as I carry one of them, the other one gets jealous and refuses to move. So we have definitely hit a new milestone. i am sure you know what I am talking about! :rotfl:0 -

Hi all
Sorry have not been about..have been with you in spirit!
We had a great Bank Holiday weekend..lots of fun. Back to the grindstone now. The great news is that we should be well under £10k by the end of the week.I am resisting doing the scores on the doors until then. Am taking it easier on OPs as the OD has been creeping up..which is hardly the point so need to focus on clearing that first. I will probably use most of the van hire fees to pay that off..
