Yup, but the Rose of Sharon is still basically a 'plain and grows everywhere' kind of weed in its native habitat! I'm not sure the hymn writer knew that though ... there was also a band called 'Vally of Achor', they liked the name and only later came to realise that Achor meant 'destruction' which wasn't their intended train of thought!jellyhead wrote:lol!! there's also a rose of sharon, there's a hymn about it. that's a much more romantic and pleasant image :-)
