Hope things work out, by all accounts I'm in a similar position over something else which they say I agreed to, I refute this agreement 100%.

    CAB are superb :)

Thank you nry! Telling me that CAB are superb makes me feel better.

I hope they can help. I was given an appointment date and time where someone will be able to help me who knows about consumer laws. Today was just to get all the details of my case. So I am really hoping by the end of this week I will have a better unserstanding of where I stand.

So I have to wait till the end of the week for my appointment with CAB.

I have had a text and email from the Hypnotherapist this morning asking when I am going to call her.

I dropped her a one line reply by email stating all further communication will be done by post (only did this because I said I would call).

I will ignore anything else she sends by email/text from now on.

Hopefully I'll be able to post her a revised version of timbstoke's letter by the weekend.

I will update when I can so you all know what happens.

    Thank you all again! :)

Just got a reply to my email...

You agreed to call me today- are you now not going to do this- I need to speak to you today- any time I have to spend from now on emailing, calling, reading letters is chargeable as I explained and I also said if you called me today I would add on no further charges onto the hour and a half- so please call me today or you will leave me with no option than to now add on chargeable time to email, and read any letters you send me when this can be resolved easily in a quick call which is what you agreed to do
Best Wishes (Yes, she put best wishes, if she did mean that she would just keep the £200 for doing nothing and stop trying to scare me about the bill going up).

I will be ignoring this email.

    Thanks molerat!

Yes I have also printed out all the emails. Can't print off my texts though (anyone know how?) I guess I will have to keep tham all for a while till this gets resolved.

Going to take the emails & texts to the CAB.

Can you sync your phone with your PC? This might be a way to get your texts. :)

    Thank you very much bod1467!!

I'm off to find out how to do this, I'm sure it is possible as I'm sure my husband has 'synced' my phone to the PC before to get photos off it!

Have just skimmed through this thread and two things struck me - firstly, I am in the wrong job, and secondly, how glad i am that I am not a scheming money grabbing, smile at your face while I rob you blind con artist like this woman. She needs looking at because you can bet you aren't the only one she preyed on when they were down, thieving cow! Good luck in getting rid of her, and if you haven't already ( cos I only skim read) then please contact trading standards or her professional body, am sure hypnotherapists have to be registered. £1000 an hour? wouldn't give her me spit!

She needs looking at because you can bet you aren't the only one she preyed on when they were down, thieving cow! Good luck in getting rid of her (thank you!), and if you haven't already Not yet unfortunately, I think I'm in this for a long haul, she doesn't seem to let up! ( cos I only skim read) then please contact trading standards (I will do as soon as I have spoken to the CAB) or her professional body, am sure hypnotherapists (she is supposed to be a Certified Master Hypnotherapist but do not know who she is registered with) have to be registered. £1000 an hour? £500 per hour, every second counts with her, she is saying she charges for every text, every email, every phone call sheduled or not, to read any texts/emails/letters etc. wouldn't give her me spit!

    Thanks for your response piglet25.

Just had another email from her (as she is so proffesional) this is my 3rd email from her today -

Im sending you this credit note (for £4300) as im obliged to by VAT law to credit the VAT invoice I created on your request and have taken off the £200 you have already paid to me as agreed on your payment plan, I would apprecaite you letting me know you have received this, please call me rather than sending me letters as this is my chargeable time, please call me and speak with me in person

This woman is making her own rules up as she goes along unfortunately. I don't understand why she is so desparate in me speaking with her? Does she want to shout at me, make me feel worse than I do? I don't understand.

Taking everyones advice and ignoring her.

Looks like she's backing out and realises she can't take you for a fool anymore. Hence the "credit note".

Personally I would email her back (in this instance only) to ask her to confirm that the "credit note" plus £200 already paid is full and final settlement of the contract. You may want to wait for other replies first to confirm this course of action.

    DO NOT PHONE HER!
