COURT ORDER FOLLOWING COMPLAINTS
A court order had been placed on a West Bromwich business following more than 200 complaints from members of the public.
An Enforcement Order was issued at Birmingham County Court on Monday, July 13, against Sajid Hussain, aged 32, and Inest Ltd, both of Birmingham Road, West Bromwich.
The order was applied for following a number of civil complaints which had been received by Sandwell Trading Standards.
The complaints came from members of the public who had ordered goods from a website inest .co .uk and been supplied with faulty goods or had paid for goods which were never received.
The order prohibits Inest Limited and Hussain from breaching provisions of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
If any breaches do occur then Inest Limited and Hussain may be found in contempt of court. Inest Limited and Hussain were ordered to pay costs of £5,225.40.
Speaking out of court Sandwell Council's cabinet member for neighbourhoods and housing, Cllr Mahboob Hussain, said: "We are pleased that the county court agreed to this order which was the first application of its kind for Sandwell. Trading Standards was prompted to take this course of action due to the large number of complaints received from members of the public about this company."0 -

This company is still trading, what did the court order wish to enforce?
I have a faulty item from them which I sent on to a friend in France who has found that they do not respond to emails and they have removed their main phone number. item was less than £100 so not covered under credit card purchase scheme?
Anybody help here?
Thanks0 -
BEWARE iNEST: I just want you to know iNest are still at it despite being taken to court in July 2009 by Trading Standards. I received a faulty DVD player January 2010 it has cost me £98.98 plus a further £17.50 to return it. They do not respond to e mails their contact number is a mobile that refers you to voicmail with a message that says it is full. I have reported them to Trading Standards and my Credit Card Company are involved in trying to recover my money. If only I had checked this site first! DO NOT BUY FROM iNEST0

I've had the same problems with this company, and I too wish I had done some research before buying! I've emailed Sandwell Trading Standards today mainly to highlight that they are still up to their old tricks, and also to see if they can help get the money back. I'm not holding my breath though!0

I bought a DAB radio from this company. It was faulty so return it as instructions on their website (recorded) and they signed for it. I never heard anything again. I emailed every day and also went to "contact us" every day on their website. I left numerous messages on their answerphone (they dont answer the phone). I then wrote a letter (standard post) to their office and home address. Heard nothing. I then wrote another letter last week to both addresses saying my husband was coming round to pick up the refund.:mad: The refund turned up in my bank today!!! I did not get the money back for the cost of sending the item back (as it says on their website) but at least I got most of my money back. Just keep sending letters asking for refund - hopefully you will eventually get your money back. It took me 3 months. Good Luck.0

Wish I read this thread before ordering my DVD/Video player.
It arrived today totally wrong player battery back missing from controller and yep you guest it doesn’t work either. Unfortunately paid for it on Visa debit card so I guess I’ve lost the money on that since refunds from these charlatans sound hard to come by.
Odd thing is the Postcode is different to there address?
Any advice on how to return the favour and screw the company as they have done to most of us?0 -
I ordered a tv adaptor two weeks ago, item on site said it has been despatched , but i never recieved.
Callled a mobile number where a rude woman answers saying that they did deliver and they will send out another one as it has been returned back to her.
I never recieved item, asked for refund and never recieved. Item was only 20 quid but im 20 quid short as his company and company handlers are fraudsters. Woman who i talked to on phone telling me about her life story of her twins, i said if you are handling a buisness products should be despatched asap.
I will be complaining to Trading standards ...but PEOPLE PLS PLS PLS DO NOT EVER IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!!
IVE LEARNED A BIG LESSON AND WISH I CAME ACROSS THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I ORDERED!!!!!0 -
After ordering a CD player/DAB radio from this 'company'?! I later found this forum along with a few others stating how awful they are!!
I went into total panic, I knew I had done the wrong thing - thought I would never receive my radio. To my total amazement, my package arrived 2 days later - yippee!!!!!
BUT............ you guessed it, it's not working - well, the CD player works and the FM radio (not the DAB - which is actually what I got if for!)
The inside of the box stinks of cigarettes, the unit has definately been used - it also looks old! There is some paperwork in there that says 2003 on it!!!
I have decided to keep the unit anyway, as its for my 7yr old for her birthday - at least the CD player works and she can listen to some radio!! - I just cannot go through all the hassle of returning it and then I may not even get my money back!!
I have spoken to Sandwell Trading Standards who know them very well! I just cannot believe that they are still getting away with this?!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Had similar issue with Inest. Ordered a refurbished PVR system on 10/12/2011 as a Christmas present. Heard nothing (luckily no money taken from Credit card) and have tried to contact them by contact form (no response except for automated acknowledgement), voicemail from Mobile number (left numerous messages), and their landline contact number (number not recognised?), their website showed order as "pending". Contacted credit card company as I don't want Inest to take the money under a previous authorisation if they're going under to find that, if they (being the Vendor) doesn't take the money out within 7 to 10 working days from the transaction date, then the order lapses and "drops out of the system" according to Mastercard, which would necessitate a re-order. Looks like I was lucky, although it's a shame really as the item was a good price, although again as they say, "if it looks too good to be true it probably isn't true!" Best of luck to all those trying to recover their money.0
