This company has moved across the road into West Brom,so Trading Standards Birmingham are no longer interested.I phoned West Brom and was told to contact my own Trading Standards Office in Manchester-I did-They are not interested, neither are West Brom.I was told to contact the Consumer Rights on 08454 040506,I must admit they were very helpful.I have now written to BH Systems, telling them that I am covered by the 'Sale of Goods Act'(which covers your goods for 6 years) and that I require a refund into my account immediately and that when the money has been refunded his goods are ready for collection,I wait for 14 days, then if no reply I have to contact the Consumer Rights office again,OH the letter must be recorded.I have also contacted my Card Company.
I hope this info is of some use to you all

Hi. Just read this and wondering how you got on? I have just been advised by Consumer Direct to do the same thing, except they said to send my letter standard delivery, as so many people's recorded deliveries have been returned to them unsigned for!
  • Thanks for the headsup.... i was close to purchasing!

i read all of the posts but i havent seen none saying they got there money back and there were posts from 2006 so many people he has fooled for so many years and no one is taking any action ive been waiting for 2 month to get a refund of him i contacted citisen advice and they told me to take to the small courts or whatever but write inest a letter. ive been ripped off with £100 ordered a DVD player / VHS combo on a website it was FUNNI make or someting i recived a BUSH and box was all trashed and remote control was totaly from other DVD player. without even opening the package of the DVD sent it straight back 2 days later with the letter asking for a refund and whats the matter with it. Parceforce delivered the DVD player and i still got no refund cant contact inest or anyting.i used DEBIT card and im not protected. consumer rights or someting doing noting at all!!! omg this is ENGLAND not some little country who can get away with RIPPING OFF AND MUGGING people online with ease. why no one is taking action and doing someting about it people put so many complayints towards HUSSAIN or whatever his name is who got an exuse that he got 2 kids like wow we dont care dont trade if you dont have time. maybe where ever he is from people do it and goverentment do noting. i Study POLITICS and ENGLAND got LAWS and he is braking the laws in everyway but no one is TAKING NO ACTION. can anyone explayin it to me? why should i give away as a presents my £100 to someone who cant even answer his phone because he will get hell alot of abuse.
  • I have recently purchased a 19" lcd tv off these people which is now not working.
They will not answer any of my emails or phonecalls which over the last 3 weeks have been about 10 emails and ive lost count of how many phonecalls.
On their site you can contact a warranty helpline where someone tells you how good their service is,even this doesnt work if you dont belive me try ringing any of the numbers yourself they dont work.
The only number that i think works is the number for someone to ring you to take payment from a card, how predictable.
How many more people will buy faulty goods in good faith and let them not honour thier warranty policys.
I could send the tv to thier address but then i will have no tv and no means of contacting them as their real address is not the one they have on their site.

PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE
    YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF
  • Oh, and I found his charming little sob story of an email which explained why he'd failed repeatedly to answer his phone, respond to my emails or take delivery of the broken items I bought from him... have a good cry now:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be assured that no one here has any intention of ripping anybody off. The fact is that I have been in business for 8 years and what started out as a ‘bedroom business’ has now grown into a very successful one. As a result, I am now in the process of transition so that I can cope with all of the demands placed upon me all day every day. This means premises, staff etc. At the moment its just me and my wife (we also have twins who are 2 years old) so I hope you can appreciate that its very tough going right now.

If you can please email me the problem I promise to look into it for you.

    Best Regards,

    Sajid Hussain
    Director

Needless to say, I emailed him - he said he'd take delivery of them a week ago. And his driver never turned up - quelle surprise! - and now he won't answer the emails again.

As I said - stay well away from Inest.co.uk or thir other name of BH Systems

  • I bought a faulty dvd player last August. I contacted EVERYONE, trading standards consumer rights etc etc. I returned the player to him and he refused to accept it, the post office tried to redeliver and he refused again so I was advised by trading standard to accept the dvd player as it was actually mine. My credit card company refunded my money and Mr Hussain told trading standards he would be in touch to resolve and arrange uplift of the dvd....that was in Janauary....I'm still waiting!!! I am not prepared to spend any more money resolving this issue. If he wants the player he will have to physically send someone to uplift it.

PLEASE GUYS DON'T BUT FROM THIS ROGUE AND SPREAD THE WORD.
  • I have also been ripped off my this man... I am now taking him to the small claims court... same story; had faulty goods delivered Mister Hussain said he'd replace it, parcleforce never turned up never heard anything from the con man again... after repeated emails, posts to I nest, letters... Can not leave a message on their phone.

Has anyone contacted WATCHDOG BBC1 to expose this charleton
  • I too have been ripped off by the above. I also tried emailing, calling and even writing to them, with no response whatsoever. I had bought a Sanyo mp3 that was supposed to have been "factory refurbished, in excellent condition" It never worked from day one.

I am currently drafting a claim for to sue them in the small claims court, it's a bit of a headache but I can't see any other way. Comments relating to informing Watchdog seems like a good idea also.

I just wish I had come to this site prior to buying anything from INest (AKA B&H Sytems)
  • I usually only buy from trusted sellers but when I saw a great deal on a CD/DAB/FM Player on this iNest site a voice in my head told me to check it out (thankfully) and here is where I ended up! Thanks to you all for sharing your experiences and I hope you all get your issues resolved soon. I shall indeed give iNest a miss this time.
