Also had problems. I ordered a DAB radio from iNest in early June. Their website told me that they had dispatched the item but it never appeared. I contacted the courier who said that they had never received a package to deliver. I continue to try to contact the company over the next month but no luck. Eventually I found their new contact number: 0121 533 1428 and eventually got through. First they said that there was a backlog on the delivery. Then they said that I had cancelled my order and a refund would be made the following week, which it wasn't. Then I was told that the refund had been made but the bank wouldn't release the funds to me, but this would be sorted out by the following week and the money would be back in my account. Alas, two weeks later I still don't have the money in my account. Avoid them like the plague - in my view they are just a bunch of theives
  • I have had the same problems as above however i am getting no response whatsoever, no response to email, telephone calls and fax! I used debit card!

How do i get trading standards involved-thanks for your help!
  • It is impossible to get through to this company by telephone. The only answer when you call is "Your call cannot be connected and you cannot leave a message". They do not respond to emails at all. I am stunned that this company has been allowed to carry on trading.

I too used a debit card but my bank (Nationwide) have informed me that I can fill in a Visa Dispute Form and they will take it from there.

I hope this company gets closed down before they can take people's hard earned money for too much longer.
  • I placed my first order with I-Nest on 10th August 2007, 8 days later I still have not received the item nor any explanation as to the delay.
I have phoned their number numerous times and just get the same old message "You cannot leave a message"
NO replies to 3 emails I have sent so far.
Birmingham Trading Standards are aware . I advise all to phone and register their complaint to add to the list of BTS.

I have phoned my bank who will be getting back the funds iNest took. Phoned ProtX who have added my complaint to their list of others about Inest.

Would also advise everyone to go the the Inest website home page and report it as a "Phishing" site. They are taking our details, not sending our items = THEFT.
  • Oh how I wished I'd googled these chaps. I'm still waiting on my order and despite calling the "dead" phone line, there is no trace of them on BT, yell.com. They don't respond to emails. I think I'm lucky as in I paid by visa however, do they refund the full amount including postage or are these guys collecting the postage.......not a bad little earner. They also sell via ebay.....do ebay not have some sort of responsiblity?

A costly lesson to be learned.......I'm off to email trading standards. ...grrrrr
  • I have still not received anything from BH Systems/Inest, despite sending numerous emails asking what is happening. They do not respond at all and they are impossible to contact by phone. However, as I mentioned before, you need to ask your bank or visa provider to process a Visa Fraud Complaint on your behalf. My bank are now doing this so hopefully I will get my money returned.

I understand what you are saying when you said you wished you had googled this company, but unfortunately none of us do! Although I will be doing from now on, it hasn't seemed necessary in the past.

Anyway - what name do they trade under on ebay? Could you let me know as I'd like to keep an eye on them :-)

    Thanks
    Ellie
  • hi
i to had problems with inest, this site is a joke and should have been removed from search engines, bought a digital radio,mp3 player was delivered in original box, damaged like it had been on the tip, on opening rradio rattled like parts loose in side , was scratched to hell, wouldent eject cd tray
in all honesty i think this site inest is going around all the factorys buying all broken or reject stock and selling them on his site

stay well clear of this site

i sent lots e mails and phone calls, to try get money back to no avail in the end had to go through credit card firm to get it back

lots stress and hassle to get it back no customer support,i cant understand how this is allowed to still trade?
  • I think they trade under Inest on ebay. My item did turn up however, I now own a portagble dvd player that doesn't play and won't charge. I have contacted my visa card company and they have noted on my records this transaction as a "disputed payment" I am sending the dvd player back, however I note on their site they don't pay back the postage which was about £6 so if it costs me the same to send it back I've lost £12....
  • Inest is certainly a problematic company and the "director" Sajid Hussain has serious problems when it comes to honouring his commitments.
Don't trust Inest one little bit and would urge anyone to stay a million miles from them.
  • Oh, and I found his charming little sob story of an email which explained why he'd failed repeatedly to answer his phone, respond to my emails or take delivery of the broken items I bought from him... have a good cry now:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be assured that no one here has any intention of ripping anybody off. The fact is that I have been in business for 8 years and what started out as a ‘bedroom business’ has now grown into a very successful one. As a result, I am now in the process of transition so that I can cope with all of the demands placed upon me all day every day. This means premises, staff etc. At the moment its just me and my wife (we also have twins who are 2 years old) so I hope you can appreciate that its very tough going right now.

If you can please email me the problem I promise to look into it for you.

    Best Regards,

    Sajid Hussain
    Director

Needless to say, I emailed him - he said he'd take delivery of them a week ago. And his driver never turned up - quelle surprise! - and now he won't answer the emails again.

As I said - stay well away from Inest.co.uk or thir other name of BH Systems
