• I will share my experience.

I had googled Inest, but missed this forum. I became suspicious when they charged my credit card before shipping, and when a couple of weeks later they showed the order as shipped by Parcelforce24 and due to arrive next working day, but nothing showed up..

I found out from this forum that Inest use Interlink Express - not Parcelforce. Parcelforce knew nothing about the order, but I was able to find it on the Interlink Express site using my email address and post code, and the goods did show up about 2 weeks after Inest claimed they had been shipped.

However, I'd ordered an
IN-ELTA9731 at £35.98 including postage, but have been sent a lower spec IN-ELTA6730 which should be £30.98. What I have been sent does seem to work, and I know from trying the phone number and contacts form, and from this forum, how hard it is to get a response from the firm.

I have 'contacted' them via the website about the discrepancy, and will pursue it.

However, my recommendation to anyone is not to deal with this outfit. Go to a shop, or use a reputable online site like Amazon.

• I bought some stuff from inest pre-Christmas, turned up just in time but doesn't work properly. In the process of contacting them to return the goods. However, reading back over the receipts, they charged me 21% VAT! So much for Gordon Brown's 2.5% vat cut!

Was going to get a replacement, but think I'll just go for a refund. When shopping on t'internet, always use your visa (or other generic credit) card so you have some buyer protection.

Cheers all.
• After numerous phone calls, emails and letters to inest, i finally managed to get through to a lady on 07984 348659. I said i'd sent the chair back about 3 weeks ago as i wasn't happy with it and i wanted to know where my refund was. She started off by saying we haven't received it and i should've sent it via recorded delivery. I then told her that i had proof of delivery and told her who had signed for it (i think it turned out to be a neighbour which is strange!). She then agreed to refund the full cost including the P&P charge which landed in my bank today, woo hoo! Never thought i'd see that money again.

TOP TIP: send your products back to them (that's if you ever get them!) via Interlink express who are their courier, then there is a much greater chance of them taking delivery as they will be having interlink picking up and dropping off for them.

Good luck everyone.
• I've had a similar problem with this company to many many of you, a little luckier than some i guess as the two items i ordered did arrive and only one of them didn't work. I had the usual problems getting hold of anyone so i sent an email to their merchant services provider 'Protx' using their support address. I informed protx of this forum and the kind of problems people had experienced and received this reply

"Dear Bryan,
Thank you for your email.

I have contacted the merchant, informing them that you have had difficulty contacting them and ask them to respond to you within one week. If the merchant has not contacted you within a week, we recommend that you contact your card issuer who may act on your behalf to recover your funds. Our Operations department has also been informed of your email with the details about the forums, inability to contact the company in question and the security certificate. Please be aware, we take any complaints made against merchants who use our services very seriously and we will withdraw our services if a merchant fails to provide adequate customer service.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards, "

Lo and behold, I was contacted by mr hussain within 2 days wanting to arrange pickup of the items. This may not be over yet based on others experience of returning goods but it would appear they are at least taking some notice.
I would suggest ayone who has a problem with this company to complain via protx using this email address suport@protx.com and good luck!
• Agree with all warnings to steer clear!!
• I too have been done .
I paid £68.98 for a DAB ipod hi-fi ,
had it delivered and guess what it was faulty .
Even on standby it emitted a loud high pitched buzzing sound, the package looked like it had been wrappped and rewrapped several times . I sent an email saying the item was faulty and Mr Hussain said send it back and I will replace, which I did and guess what I've never recieved a replacement or refund and he now wont answer any phone calls or emails.
I ve been onto to my credit card company ( virgin ) soon to be ex creditcard company
who are almost as useless as mr Hussain . They cant do anything unless before I sent the item back I got an independant hi-fi expert to state that the item was indeeed faulty . which i bet no one ever does.
so I am now £68.98 and £13.99 return delivery charge out of pocket
If your reading this and you have just recieved the above item taped up with white security seal tape, then clear tape and finally lots of brown tape and it buzzzes . youve been done by Mr Hussain the master of recycling faulty goods
• i bought a gaming chair last october for a christmas present for my boyfriend it arrived about a week later i didn't check it but in hindsight i wish i had. when my boyfriend opened it up on christmas day it was broken it was unusable, i emailed them on many occasions with no reply after ringing them a few times i got lucky a lady answered she said she would arrange for the chair to get picked up, the day it was meant to get picked up i got a call saying there driver was ill so they would arrange for it to get picked up the next day which they did to my surprise i called again a couple of days later and she confirmed the refund will be in my account 3 to 5 days time, again to my surprise i got a full refund including the delivery charge. after reading this forum i am shocked that i actually got anywhere with them let alone a refund i will defiantly not be buying from these people again
• wow i cant belive it
A van turned up and delivered my hifi and it works
wow i nearly fainted in shock.
it s only taken 2 months and inest have ignored every email i have sent and they never answer the phone, but hey ho ive got my hifi :-)
happy days
• How the hell can this guy keep trading. Like everyone else I wish I had seen this forum before ordering. I like many others am out of pocket to the tune of around £70 for a non existannt DAB radio/HiFi. This Mr Hussein must be laughing he is socks off at the gullible fools like me. Sadly I paid by Debit card so it doesn't look like theres anything I can do at all - Shame I don't live closer to Birmingham - i'd get my money back then ;-)
• Bought a DAB radio from them - didn't work - sent it back - they said they would send a replacement - they never did. Contacted Trading Standards and they are as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Has anyone gone to see them in Birmingham? Are they still trading. Amazing how the law is powerless to stop these criminals.

Mind you the MPs are on the fiddle why shouldn't everyone else be?
