  • i dropped a line to watchdog too, i think it's been done in the past, not sure how interested they are?

I tried trading standards again, they advised me to write a letter immediately to inest detailing the order, what i have done to try and contact them, how i expect the dispute to be resolved and a cut off date (15th Dec in my case). letter to be sent by recorded delivery., all done yesterday.

If nothing happens by the cut off date then a copy off all correspondence, receipts etc is then forwarded to my local trading standards who will take up the case with iNest and Mr Hussain.

Even if i dont get my item or money, i am determined to get this mob closed down and in the dock.

If you know of anyone else who has been stitched up get them to chase this also, the more people onto it the better.

I'll report back if anything happens this week.

Let us know how you go Derby4life, if you manage to meet Mr Hussain, let him know he can expect some other visits.
  • Well.......guess what I got right through on the telephone to the MD Mr Hussien (mobile 07904 497860). Found his number on a website. States my item will be sent out but delayed because of Xmas rush. Recorded the call ,got quite ratty when I suggested I would go to trading standards and have informed Watchdog. Will see if item arrives!!!
    Give him a call!

    Good stuff, guess what.....

my parcel arrived yesterday out of the blue (not by parcelforce24 as advised but by interlink express)...however the item is faulty and in my opinion dangerous. I plugged it in and a nasty loud hum was eminating from within the unit, like a transformer about to blow or something.

I am now faced with the nightmare of returning it and never hearing from inest ( i will try and call them again though having heard the story above about a phone being answered)

    I contacted my bank and have the following advice for anyone who is dealing with inest or similar companies;
    1. if you have ordered an item and it fails to turn up you have a right to ask your bank to perform a charge back to the merchant. They can do this once you have provided the evidence they need to show the goods have not been supplied. I think you need to allow the merchant 30 days from the date of purchase to refund you before the bank will take action.
    2. If you have received the goods like me and they are faulty, return them with recorded (signed for) delivery, keep the delivery note as this is evidence. You should include a letter with the returned item asking for a refund not a replacement (keep a copy). Again if you have not been refunded 30 days from the date of original purchase send all evidence and a letter to your bank outlining the case. They will then review and in most cases issue a chargeback unless the merchant disputes it and can provide evidence to counter your claim, unlikely.
    3. it is best if you have paid by credit card or paypal, services such as maestro dont give you any protection, but it's always worth ringing them
    4. always check out any online company by google search unless you have dealt with them before
    5. lastly if you make a noise on a blog or forum like this always come back and let everyone know how things worked out and how you got a result, it's only polite and can save others a lot of pain
  • I ordered a Pyramat S2500 gaming chair from iNest. It took over a week before they "apparently" shipped it, supposedly on next day delivery with Parcelforce. it took 8 days to deliver the item which came via interlink express, not parcelforce.

I tried calling and emailing inest on numerous occasions, thinking my chair wasn't coming at all, never once had a reply from them and most times their voicemailbox was full!

What is also strange is that they don't give tacking numbers for parcels which suggests they tell porkie pies when they say they've shipped an item.

The worst thing however, is none of the above! When i eventually received the chair (which took 2 and a half weeks to arrive) it was absolutely disgusting. It was supposed to be reconditioned in excellent condition and was supposedly a return item which someone didn't want so was "as new". The chair was covered in stains and there was a hole in the fabric! It was clearly VERY well USED!

I have called and emailed them about this and again NO REPLY! I shipped the item back via their courier interlink express, at least this way they had to take delivery because interlink go to collect from them when they eventually send any items out that is!

USEFUL TIP: Always send back via interlink express because at least they have to take delivery when Interlink do a collection from them!

Big surprise, no refund or response yet!

I have 3 contact numbers for iNEST: 07984 348659, 0121 5331428 and 0121 2409766. Not that any of them get answered!

STEER WELL CLEAR, TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE PRODUCTS!
  • I have previously listed the Director of INest contact number incorrectly. This number will get you contact with the"infamous" Mr Hussien-
    Mobile-07904 497860.

I too am waiting on a Pyramat chair after 2 weeks. E-mailed ,phoned daily. No joy. I will take him the "whole road" if this does not arrive(in a satisfactory condition).
  • guys,

forget about dealing with this fella, he is obviously dishonest. Get immediately onto your banks and ask them to start a chargeback procedure, they are usually pretty helpful (this will be for goods paid by credit cards).

Also hit Protx with a merchant escalation, i am currently working on Protx to ensure his merchant services are removed, the more complaints the better.

    Good luck
  • I bought a DAB radio from them on the 14th dec. I'm I ever likely to see it?
I always check here before I used a new company except this time as I was in a hurry as it is an xmas pressie! Damn it!
I have tried to phone them but I can't leave a message as the mail box is full. Is it worth waiting a little longer or shall I start trying to retrive my money now?

Has anyone ever had a good exprience with this company? Should I stop being hopeful and just face the fact that I am not going to recieve the product?
  • Hi,

I ordered a pyramat gaming chair on 29/11 they took payment on 03/12 and said they dispatched it on 08/12. still no sign of it and after numerous calls to which is a randoms house number and a mobile which doesnt pick up - i have lost hope! Any suggestions anyone?? they also do not answer emails. Meant to be a xmas present too which will now leave an unhappy boy! paid by debit car too :(
