Nutella what a fab sleep! Long may it continue :)
I think I need to get the blw book from the library, cuz I'm struggling. He has had yoghurt, carrot (steamed), toast and banana (and of course a chunk of biscuit!). But I'm finding it difficult to add in a feeding solids time every day, so some days get missed. Can he have things like pasta and a homemade tomato based sauce (so no salt), or do I need to stick with veggies and fruit?

Yes. Just puree it up for him. Have you tried him on some sweet potato mashed up, or butternut. You could add some chicken to that x

Oh, and weaning was a pain to get my head around at the beginning and I had no idea when I would fit in her meals and snacks, but started with one and worked up as she got the idea. If you do blw it really can be simple, just giving them a bit of what you have and it is only salt you need to be too concerned about.

Pasta does work well - get reasonably large twirls as they are easy to hold onto and not so slippery.

    Hi!!
Asda do lovely bibs. I've just got some of the over the head ones, as he keeps pulling them off now.
Do have one coverall which is great too x

    Hi Mozzy :)
I saw the over the head in asda too, I'm going to get some next week :D I did pick up some more long sleeved bibs (Mickey Mouse ones) whilst in Sainsbury's but put them back as I have spent a small fortune on the boys this week :o have to be more strict!

Nutella - I've just got back from Sainsbury's and they have a mahoosive M&S next door, thinking I should of popped in there now!

There's always a next time ;) Some of their jeans are only £12.50, but the ones that were £19.50 fitted me better... still a bargain though!

Afternoon all. My baby is nearly over her lurgy (still getting snot trails but not constantly!) but has given the cold to us. I am a bit snotty and have sore sinuses, hubby apparently has ebola...

    So typical lol :rotfl:

Well, at nursery they give him fresh home cooked meals, mashed up of course and at home he has Ella's Kitchen pouches.

For breakfast at home he'll have Readybrek, fruit pot and toast.
Lunch - Ella's kitchen pouch with yogurt. I only ever manage 2 meals a day, plus he has 3 bottles during the day x

Oh, and he barely snacks. I might give him a yogurt, but to be honest, he won't take much more. He never finishes all his food at nursery either. He's a grazer lol x

Noah doesn't tend to snack either. He still has all his food mashed up, he has his 3 meals and 2 7oz bottles. I'm trying to get him to hold things to eat himself but he shows no interest still so I think I will be sticking with mashing his food at the moment, otherwise I stress myself out thinking he is behind for his age etc! :o
