This is the high hair we have stored in garage as Niall is only 4 months on sat.

I think I might do a bit of blw and the old method as would like to try him with rice, millet and quinoea and these would need mushing.

My dh tells me he stripped to his boxers in the middle of nature reserve to put his waterproofs on to try nd wade through water this morning. I said someone is bound to have seen him lol

Hi all! We've had a lovely afternoon at baby group, they'd put out a big tray of jelly as they're doing a lot of sensory stuff at the mo. George was straight in there - playtime and a snack all in one!

Turtle there are some recipes on this site, and a good forum too. I've not posted but I lurk quite often! http://www.babyledweaning.com/
I've been struggling to organise myself with it too, today I've sat down and made a list of what we're all eating for the rest of the week so I know what I need to buy/prepare for each day. He's had so far, pasta and bolognese, goulash and curry (a very mild one). Other than that its been toast, fruit or veg really. From now on he's eating mainly the same as us, except when OH cooks really spicy things!

Re highchairs we have the ikea antilop, cheap and very wipe cleanable!

...and easily portable in a car, we had a friend visit for a few days with her LO and one of these - legs come off.

Mind if I nose in more often on here? I'm officially overdue now :D

We have the Fisher Price rainforest one, but were given it by a friend.

  • Evening all

Happy birthday Mozzy. You share a birthday with my OH. He is being a miserable so and so though so I am ignoring his nastiness which is aimed at stupid playstation games & occasionally bouncing off at me.

I put Ellie to bed 1/2 an hour earlier than usual so we shall see what time she wakes in the night & morning...

I am doing what I guess would be classed as a mix of puree & BL weaning. She has toast, pieces of banana, mushy broccoli but I cook a lot of things and blitz them up for her then freeze them into ice cubes :) She had homemade bolognese with those little pasta stars this evening, & rhubarb, apple and banana cubes with a bit of baby rice for lunch. I sometimes find that I have missed the usual time for lunch if I manage to get her to nap in the early morning. Still manage to give her food three times a day 9 times out of 10 :)

Our highchair is the Obaby nanofold one. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Obaby-Nanofold-Highchair-Dotty-Red/dp/B0046B55X6 Soooooo impressed with it. Wipeable seat, the straps are pop & lock so easy to remove and clean, and the tray has another identical tray slotted over the top which is removable so you can stick it in the sink :D ours is not red though, it is green :) very tiny when you fold it down!! It sits behind the living room door in my pokey flat :D
