Bellola - G was off colour for the best part of a week after the second jabs, with a fairly big red mark o n one leg too. Hope your LO picks up quickly.
Congrats on the weight gain sm! Cheeky boy peeing on you though!
Nutella hope you have a less poop filled night tonight! Hope she's over the worst of it now.
We didn't go swimming today (think it was turtle who asked?). Oh had a pc to collect from Portsmouth so we went via ikea at Southampton. Love ikea meatballs, and with every adult meal you get a free plum stage 1 pouch. He ate some of that pretty happily in their restaurant, considering all the noise and distractions. Got one of the antilop high chairs as we sat him in one while we ate and were impressed with it. Just realised I didn't get any dime bars or pear cider though. Gutted!
Edited to add : we definitely have a tooth! Little blighter bit my finger with it earlier, dreading him biting when he's got a mouthful of boob! Came over a bit sad thinking how his gummy smile will be different from now on. I like his gummy little grins.Newborn thread member

Thanks Nutella and Katie, good to know how others LO's have been. S is still crying downstairs with OH, I have retreated upstairs to try and get some washing sorted. I wish they could tell us what's wrong! It's horrible not being able to comfort them. Even cuddles aren't working. I think she has cried so much she is now exhausted so have to try and get her to sleep.
Well done on the weight SM, that's great that things are picking up for you.
Congrats on the tooth Katie! I love the gummy grins too. Teeth make babies seem much more grown up!0 -

Glad it's not just me being soppy. Going to take a ton of photos this weekend before the tooth is really noticeable.

Sorry to hear lo is so upset Bellola. After Nialls first lot of jabs he was up a lot more than usual that night and had a fever the next day and developed a cold. He had his second lot the other day and actually has slept more and had a bit of a fever again. I guess children react differently. Hope things get better soon.
All this talk of swimming, I must take Niall this week if I can fit it in. So busy with with Niall, housework etc
Brought some clothes today frm mand s and next for Niall we had some vouchers but of course spent more.

On the subject of clothing, because we are packing I have been through all Reuben's stuff. Sold a few bits on the facebook mse page but there is a full box of too small stuff, and also a full box of mostly 12-18 month stuff with a few 9-12 and few 18-24 month stuff.....must stop buyinh 12-1stuff obvisouly, as theres tons of the stuff.
Reuben is sitting on OH's lap talking gibberish, he's really going for it, very cute! One of the noises he keeps making is "da" which of course makes OH grin like a loon
Right time to get Reuben ready for bed and then more packing....we have far too much stuff!0 -
Hiya, thanks for the advice about Maisie's cold, she's a lot better today. Wish I could get on here more often to post. I have to go into hospital Thursday for a couple of hours and wanted to leave her with my mum instead of taking her with me, do you think it would be ok to start expressing breast milk and try and get her used to the odd bottle or is it too early? She's 6 weeks on Wednesday, thanks very much0
