Morning. Good night for us - up twice but not until 4, then 6 and then he slept til 8! Think it might be related to this tooth that may or may not have come through - fairly sure it has but he won't let me look!

Think we're going to ikea today so no swimming for us, but meatballs for dinner so can't complain!

fluff enjoy baby massage! Me and Reu did it and loved it. Make sure you have a couple of nappies and a change of clothes for freddie though, as sometimes the tummy massage can have an explosive effect!

Our good sleeping has gone to pot here, up so many times the last 2 nights that I've just had him in bed with me. It's driving me a bit potty, my sleeping is so all over the place that sometimes i go to bed, and I'm exhausted, but just cant sleep. THen I lay there thinking how tired I will be tomorrow if I don't sleep....not helping!

Have to go to the MIL to pick up some boxes today - then its more packing seeing as we get the keys for our new place tomorrow

Bit bad timing but I've got a place on a first aid course, which i really wanted to do, but it's this Monday 9:30 to 11:30....the day when im supposed to be moving....but I want to do the course before Reuben starts weaning, so have accepted the place, not sure how im going to fit it all in, but I bet my mum will be happy with the chance to have Reu all to herself for 2 hrs

Right best crack on with packing....

Sorry you're not getting much sleep turtle. Hopefully when you get moved and everything's settled down he'll sort it out for you.

First aid course sounds good - the sure start I go to had one last eek but it was 5 hours and you couldn't take the baby. And as G won't take a bottle even of expressed it would have been too long to leave him, with travelling time added on.

Turtlemoose - hope Reuben gets back into a routine of sleeping properly soon. Maybe he is excited about moving house!

Me and DP were discussing having an extension built onto the side of our house to extend our kitchen as its tiny and add a fourth bedroom. Got to look at costs though.

A good day today - just won a used fisher price rainforest deluxe play gym on ebay for £19.50.

Also I've just had a call from a midwife at the hospital to see if I was ok, as apparently I was meant to go for a postnatal check (I wasn't told about this, but she said sometimes that happens and that if I've got an appointment at the GP it's ok as she can't see why I was referred). Anyway, she asked me if I was ok, and if everything was ok with the baby. I told her the comments the dr had made about the lip and tongue tie (she'd not seen one in 25 years so doubted he had on and was it my first baby), and she was horrified! She gave me the number for the breastfeeding specialist at the hospital and I've just called her. She was also horrified when I told her what the dr said. She's getting the clinic to call me back with an appointment to see her on Wednesday at the hospital - she's able to cut tongue ties if he has one, but if he has a lip tie, she will refer us to Southampton Hospital. I'm so happy that I'm finally being taken seriously and it looks like luck must be on my side for me to get that call.

Off to get J weighed this avo - lets see how chunky he's got now!
