Hello everyone can I join in?! Not sure if anyone will remember me although I seem to recognise most usernames. Jacob is now 9 weeks old and is the absolute light of my life. Love him so much it hurts lol!!! He's started sleeping 8/9 hours overnight the last couple of weeks which has been fabulous although I keep waking up to check I can hear him snoring lol! I miss the pregnancy thread so will try and post here although Jacob doesn't sleep a great deal during the day little tyke! Congrats to all new mummies

The more the merrier I think it was because the parents thread is a bit slow moving compared to the main Pregnancy thread. Plus all the newbies can ask each other questions, but also good to get advice from people who have been there too. xx

KAREN!!! Hope you and the boys are well was wondering where you'd been but knew how busy you would be, especially with Christmas etc, glad you are doing good!

I'm all good, got a growth scan on the 11th as he's looking to be a big boy, I know you'l appreciate how that feels I'm not that big though so no idea where he's putting it all, wee chub that he is, but aren't chubby babies the cutest

How big is he weighing so far? Yeah they are very cute. I knew Jacob was going to be big but not that big!! If he had gone 2 weeks over like the other 2 he would have been 11lb odd I think :eek:!!!! I wasn't all that huge either so I think he was hiding a lot lol!

Well he was averaging about 3lb 6oz at 29 weeks and the doc said to me at my 33 appointment she thought she could feel a good 5 and a half pounds, maybe 6 but that obviously was just her guessing, so will see what happens when I go back for my scan, he's very long though so maybe that's making up his weight

11lb :eek: Imagine.

I was expecting a good 8lber lol!! Scans aren't always accurate I guess but they were with me. I'm sooooo glad I fought for my elective c-section as I think I would have had problems and have had to have an emergency. Update us when you get your next scan.
