I've just been for a docs appt (routine follow up) and she said we're safe to go to baby group this week woop woop :T! She said I did the right thing last week and by calling yesterday to see if I should even go to the surgery, and that I'd be surprised at the amount of people that turn up there with all sorts of highly contagious bugs with absolutely no thought for anyone else. Um, where can I get a gas mask for next time I have to go?!

So today I'm off to play group this afternoon!

Sunshine re Christmas - we'll be at my mums like usual. It's difficult as we live at the other end of the country to 3/4 of our family, normally we go to my mums on Xmas eve til Boxing Day, then call at my dads for the afternoon on the way to OH's mums, stay there for a couple of days then back home and see OH's dad then. I can't wait til we move back up north and have a bigger place - I'm going to invite everyone round for Christmas dinner and we won't have to drive 600 odd miles in less than a week. Will be awesome

Pickup is near OH's work - so he's happy as it means he'll get a lift home in the car with me instead of having to get the bus! Not far, about 10 miles.

I just want to curl up and sleep for about a week, but the bloody fleas are back (or never left?!) - so I am doing lots of hoovering like a mad woman. I have given in and booked the council to come tomorrow, it's £50 I don't really have available to spend but needs must. A quick google shows they are really bad this year, wonder why?! I wish I knew where they'd come from too - the cat is a house cat so it wasn't her - must have been one of us, urgh horrible thought!

Right I'm off to crack on with finishing hoovering and washing EVERYTHING that will fit in the washing machine on the highest possible temperature. ARGH!

Turtlemoose when we had a flea infestation we used a huge can of spray from the vets - I'm sure it was a lot cheaper than £50, but I can't remember the name I'm afraid. May be worth asking your vet though.

Wow Turtle, bargain highchair!! My mum once used something called a flea bomb in our old house, you pull a strip out and it fills the room with spray and you can go back in after 15mins.

Katie, rubbish you have to travel so much over xmas. I dont realise sometimes how lucky I am to have everyone near.

Ohh what a cutie gilly! Can I ask - are his jeans jeans with braces built in or are they separate? OH was saying the other day he thinks G would look cute with braces but I've not found any. G will be big enough for his acdc tshirt soon, we've only had it sat waiting since he was 2 days old!!!!!

H&M Katie H&M stuff is really small made I find, but the trousers are amazing for big cloth bums think all the Swedish folk must use cloth nappies.
