George is pretty good on the scales, I'm waiting for him to hose us all down though. It's bound to happen sooner or later
My LO weed all over the doctor at her 6-week check-up. He just smiled and said 'it happens. That's why I'm wearing gloves'. Erm, all well and good, but you still have baby wee on your clothes...0 -

I tend to stick his baby bath on the scales, and then whack him in it to weigh him. I never take him to get weighed  think the only time he has been was when he got his injections. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Gilly, I would love to do this - I hate taking her to get weighed. At least an hour's wait in a tiny and airless room packed with prams, bored mums and crying babies. Do you get told off by the HV? And do you put his weight in the red book yourself?0

I love taking Noah to get weighed (yes I live a sad little life!!
) I get told off though for taking him so often!! The HV keeps saying "he only needs to get weighed once a month". Ok, see you next week is my usual reply!!
I'm getting better though

No. The HV doesn't ask to see me, infact after his 3rd lot of injections they just said, right if you don't have any problems between now and then we'l see you at 13 months for his MMR.
The clinic is optional, if I want to get him weighed I can go, but I don't really, he eats like a beast, so I'm not concerned.
His red book has about 4 entries in it and that's it.Bad Mumma alert.

What a cute pic sammie!
I don't mind taking G to get weighed, I quite like seeing how he's doing on the graph, another sad mummy to join your club sunshine and sammie. But it can mean hanging around for a good 30-40 minutes in a hot little portacabin type thing, and I feel uncomfortable asking them any questions as everyone else can hear and look impatient. Last time I went a new hv looked in the red book and said really loudly "oh I see you've been put on anti depressants for pnd". Could have done without the whole room of strangers knowing about that to be honest.
