Hey Ladies,
Been missing for a few days, still not sleeping so great here and I'm soooo tired!
Aww Sunshine I know JUST how you feel and was comforted to read Mozzyc's advice! I'm back 3 weeks today  and I'm dreading it. I know Poppy will be fine with my Mum but I'll miss her so much. I finish work at 4.30pm and my Mum is on the way home from work so will at least have a few hours with her at night and my 3 day weekend, plus the school holidays - I'm really trying to see the positives! I'm also really looking forward to Poppy's 1st Birthday, we are having a small family party and I've started to go mad with banners, balloons etc! I've also ordered her a butterfly cake from our local bakery! Plus I really can't wait for Christmas time, so lots to look forward to!
I hope your appointment goes well with your little moggy sexymouse, I hate it when any of my dogs are poorly.
xx
Hey hun:)
I am quite glad you go back a similar time to me, it means someone will be going through it too and hopefully we can help each other through the first few days!!
Im looking at the positives too. Like my first non SMP wage where I am going to spoil my baby boy rotten!! XxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Meant to say hello Jannine, sorry you're not getting much sleep at the moment. Party planning sounds good, you'll have to post some pics of the birthday girl!
I'll def post some pictures, can't wait! Got her a new Birthday outfit which is so cute!
She's gone down tonight quite well so hoping she has a good night. Up again this morning at 2.30am until 5.00am with her just cuddling in my arms, not hungry, just wanting to be held! I don't mind so much at the moment but in 3 weeks I'm back at work and I need more sleep than I'm getting at the moment to function!
I agree about the routine and its very much baby that decides, for us it just seemed to fall into place and now I can set my watch by her nap time, feed time etc!
Really hoping we get this tooth soon, poor little girls nappies are horrendous at the moment (poor Mummy and Daddy as well!!) She did a massive poo this afternoon which leaked out the leg holes and went right up the front onto her tummy!! Plus they smell awful!! Sorry for all the details!
Hope the vet appointment went ok Sexymouse?

Evening all.
R.e routines, I think I just sort of muddled through, until a routine appeared, probably not very helpful, but I have found as time went on anyway, once you're in the swing of one routine stuff changes, they drop a nap, they add a meal on and it all goes to pot anyway, so now I just play it by ear. Bed by 7.30 at the latest is the one thing I definitely stick to. We have a loose routine but he naps at different times every day, some days he'l have 1 long nap, other days 3 short ones.
I don't go to any baby groups, I feel like I probably should, but I don't drive, and I'm not that bothered either :rotfl:
Afm, I'm making A a dairy free chocolate cake(not for him to eat all at once) I'm going to freeze it in little slices for when we go out for lunch/dinner and we get dessert so I can take it along for him. It's also a trial run for a Halloween cake. MIL is having a Halloween party and she'd rather all the kiddies got to eat the same thing, so seeing how it turns out.

Hey hun,
The money will most certainly be a positive for me as well! Can't wait for my November pay, I have 22 days holiday to be paid and my normal November wage! I'll be rich for the first time in about 10 months! Me and hubby are off to the Trafford Centre after payday to get all Christmas presents done, plus they have a Disney store so more bits for Poppy!
I'll be on here no doubt 3 weeks today telling you about my first day and how many tissues I've used! I'm lucky really though, I share an office with a lovely girl and have loads of supportive friends and a great boss so they'll make sure I'm ok!
Just concentrate on the pay packet and spoiling your little man!

Oooh fab. Love a disney store purchase!!
Great you have good colleagues. Mine are nice too, two ladies had babies about 20months ago and my boss has a 4yr old so they all realise its hard I think. Apparently work is manic at the mo so my days should fly. Hope yours do too!!
Just going to wash up and have a crunchie that OH bought me earlier xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Good evening everyone, just wanted to add a few bits to what everyone else has said
When i went back to work last time it wasnt nearly as bad as the dreading and anticipation of having to go back to work(if you see what i mean) It is hard but like everyone else has said there are some positives, like quality time on your days off, more money coming in and lunch breaks are a bit of novelty when you have spent months eating cold food!
The only thing i have to add with high chairs is not to get one with a recess in(i think it must be for a cup or something) ours has one and it just makes it a pain to clean!
I had a home birth too and it was a lovely experience, so i cant remember who was asking but i would definately recommend it! if you want to know anymore just let me know
Well i have yabbered on long enough, take care xx0 -
Evening all!
I'm plugged in to the pump again before bedtime. Just wanted to update you all on my furbaby. Blood test results have shown that all of the dangerous levels of toxins etc have now gone back to normal and she's really pleased with the results. One of the medications he's on will need to be a long-term thing to prevent further recurrences, and he has to go back for a urine sample in 2 and then 4 weeks to check everything is still normal. He also has to continue on his special diet food. I'm really relieved that his kidneys seem to be functioning normally now, as I know that kidney failure is a huge killer of older cats. He's currently curled up in the armchair with his head on a pillow and Moon has had to sit on the sofa instead. lol
Jonathan's eyes continue to improve - he's only had to have them wiped twice today so the drops must be working. He has his second session of cranio osteopathy on Wednesday so hoping that this starts to make a difference to his other problems too.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
