    Morning ladies, :)

Fairly rubbish night here again, up 3 times and he's been awake gurgling since 6, I'm getting pretty good at dozing through it until he gets to a certain volume, so could be worse. Little monkey knows he should be letting me have a lie in so is being exceptionally cute and giggly at the moment.

Off to the in laws for Sunday dinner today :p. hope everyone has a good day
    Morning katie

We were up three times too, not sure why, I keep saying its teeth but I dont know!! He is just dropping off now for a nap so better dry my hair.

    Have a nice lunch. xx

    Morning all :)

Hugs for bad nights, pesky babies.

I think A is coming down with something, woke up at 9 as usual and took his bottle at 9.30 fine, but he wouldnt eat his breakfast and was rubbing his eyes, and is so unsettled hes back in bed now sleeping and has been for 20 minutes :(

Hope everyone who had a bad nights sleep gets some rest today. We weren't too bad last night, only waking up for two feeds and settling straight away afterwards.

Well done on managing your first solo trip out sexymouse. I still haven't been brave enough to take Eliza anywhere other than on walks in my village.

Did anyone else leave baby in sleepsuits all the time for the first few weeks? I put plain ones on her at night, and cute ones during the day. I originally meant to get her dressed properly, but I find the sleepsuits so much easier. Hubby thinks she should be dressed, but as I'm not going anywhere I don't see the point.

A is 8 months and I still only dress him in sleepsuits during the day, i put a fresh clean one on him. Sometimes i may put some joggers or leggings on him. Theyre so much comfier and easier to move in, i dont like sitting about the house in jeans so why would he? :)

edit: i do dress him if we go out.

I don't want to jinx it but we may be past the 4 month sleep regression! We've had a couple of not great but certainly not terrible nights, and last night we had bedroom at 9:30 (that's early for him lately!), he was in the cot and settled/dozing in 12 minutes (a new record, normally its half an hour). Slept til midnight, woke but it was only because he had coughed and rolled on to his back. Helped him back on to his side, gave him his taggie and he got himself back to sleep....then slept until 7:15 wow!! Officially best night ever! Let's just hope he keeps it up!

What's everyone up to today? nothing exciting to report here, I'm doing some washing, and also going to do a big hoover through and flea spray - I'm pretty sure they are gone as not had any new bites for days, but i want to be completely sure the little bHggers are dead and gone!

We are moving end of Nov so i might do an inventory of the freezers and cupboards and meal plan so i can run it all down before the move. Rock n roll eh lol!

Katyliz, I kept mine in sleepsuits for i think the first 10 weeks or so, but I was getting in to a rut of not getting dressed either and was getting quite down, not going out, not doing anything etc. So for my own sanity, getting dressed is now part of our "time to get up" routine - I say "good morning Reuben", we open the curtains, nappy change and both get dressed before going downstairs - this signifies day time, time do to things, go out etc. Probably more for my benefit than his, I needed the routine to kick start me again :)

Jake is 6 months and I left him in sleepsuits for the first two months, on a normal day (ie, not one where we're going out early) I usually leave him until after his morning nap so about 11am.

Seems I was wrong, he seems fine, must just have been sleepy this morning. He was awake for ages during the night though, not that it kept me up, he was content enough, just didn't want to sleep  so I left him to it.

I think he is trying to drop his afternoon bottle, or I thought he was, past few days he's only been taking an oz or so of it so today I only made up 4oz and he drained it, so who knows what is going on, monkey!

He does eat a lot so I'm not sure if he is just full, but he usually has his lunch at 11.45/12 and his bottle around 2pm, but today he had his lunch later, and his bottle as usual at 2 and he took it, so who knows. Babies are confusing, you think you have it sussed and then they change again!

So true. My little man does the same, isnt fussed about bottle one day so reduce it and he wants more! One day I will crack it.

Aiden is the opposite, has a little bit of food and seems full. I dont have a huge appetite so maybe he takes after me, rather that than OH who eats like a horse!

I just feel 2 bottles a day doesn't seem very much, but I know the aim is to get to none by 12 months, so maybe him dropping is a good thing. Sends me grey fretting about what I should be doing.

He does have a good breakfast, 2 courses at lunch and 2 courses at dinner, and then 2 x snacks throughout the day usually. He can't have any dairy though which makes me worry about calcium intake and things. He doesn't eat at night either, and has his last bottle at 7 at the latest and doesn't take another until 9am, so I just wish he'd take more during the day :o

Aiden has 3 bottles of 7. But his portion sizes are quite little for solids. Lunch he attempts 1 crumpet or scotch pancake with a bit of cheese or a few of those carrot stick things. Tea he has our stuff blended up,.but when I see the pouches or jars in the shops I always think they are huge compared to what he will take. He enjoys yoghurt and fruit though.

Try not to worry though, they will only eat what they want amount wise. Thats what I think anyway. Will Aaron be re tested for dairy allergies as he grows? X
