I googled osteopaths in my area and then looked at all of their websites to see what their specialisms were. If they specialised in cranio osteopathy for babies, I then looked at their prices, and basically chose the cheapest one as I don't think you can get it on the NHS. You can get it if you have health insurance though (we don't). My sessions cost £35 for the initial consultation for a child, and we were there for a good hour and 15 minutes. Further treatment sessions after that are 30-45 mins long and cost £30 a time.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Oh my gosh thank you for mentioning insurance. We have a scheme at work which I haven't yet registered LO for but just found the paperwork and oesteopathy is covered so I can claim up to £150. They are sending me an application form to get her registered then I can sort out an appointment.0

The reason he'l feed less at the boob is over time they become mpre efficient feeders and also your milk adjusts to suit there nutritional needs (how clever
) so although he may be feeding less frequently and quicker in reality he is probably drinking more milk.
Id be inclined to leave.more smaller bottles, so maybe 3 x 3oz or whatever
that way if he only wants 6, your other 3 isnt wasted
i used to hate throwing expressed milk away.
Me too. I'll decant it into two bottles. Thanks for the tip."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

That's shocked me for two reasons... 1) it suggests he has just 2.5 oz at each feed which seems a little low and 2) I've had to count the number of feeds he has and the greedy little bugger has 10 a day on average. No wonder he's such a porker"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
The amounts on that link seemed low for me too fluff - Jonathan has 90mls at each feed and I think he has around 10 feeds a day too (not actually sure, as I've not counted them - it may be more). He's only 16 days old today. I know that he has that amount as I'm exclusively expressing.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hey mozzy  how are you doing?
We went to the toy library/play group this morning, was really good and met a couple more local mums which is good. And they have so many toys to hire! Didn't get any today but next week I've got my eye on a ball pit and ball set
Hi hun!!!! Hope you both well
Oooo, lovely, toys to hire, like that idea. Nice you got to meet some mums!!! Always nice to find some walking buddies for summer!

Don't forget they are just using an average, so there will always be X amount of babies who eat much more (or much less). I know my boy drinks more/feeds more often when he's on bottles as a comfort thing - he will feed 6- 7 times in a day (7am - 6pm) when having bottles but in that same time with me he would only feed 3 or 4 times. Sometimes I offer it to him when I think he should be having it, if I think he's not had enough, but he purses his lips shut and looks at me as if to say "are you crazy woman, I didn't ask for this!"
I do have a skinny baby though :rotfl:0 -

They are still quite gunky at the moment, but seem to be getting a bit less so - they aren't quite as crusty which is good as it was sore when I wiped them. Putting the drops in is hard, as we have to clean his eyes first, which means he then keeps them firmly shut as he knows what's coming next. lol I've ended up just putting a drop in the corner of his eye and then wiping the drop over the closed eye, hoping some goes in. I think it must be as they seem to be improving.
Furbaby bean to the vet - bladder back to normal size, and she took a urine sample as she's received the full history from the emergency vets now and knows his kidneys took quite a battering. We've picked up an anti-stress diffuser too, but he seems to be getting used to Bean already. Last night he was lying by the wood-burner and completely ignored the fact that Moon was holding Bean and Bean was crying. Today, he lay down in the sunshine when Bean was in his bouncer and didn't seem bother when Bean had hiccups either. :TEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
