Talking of arms, when I had my section, they slashed Freddie's arm! It's only a scratch (and I think the scar's gone now) but it was mad to think he sustained an injury before he'd even been born
I weighed Freddie today. He's 13 weeks and he weighs 17 lbs 7 oz. Yikes! He doesn't look fat but he's really hefty. Piggy porker.
He never looked fat either...but holding him for a long while wrecks my arms! XLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Eeeeeek sorry it's massive. On the iPad no idea how to change x
Also aware his sheet looks caked in muck, it was only done that afternoon and changed before bedhe was eating strawberries.

He was born with his arm above his head (would explain why I couldn't push him out) and his left wrist is permanently flexed with his fist clenched and thumb tucked in. The paediatrician thinks he may have something called Erb's Palsy.
Weigh-in a success - he's virtually up to his birth weight again of 9lb 7oz so has been discharged. Downside though is his eye swab came back and he has an infection in both eyes (had gunky eyes when he was born which I thought was from swelling from the forceps so goodness knows where he got the infection).Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Cute pic Gilly!
sexymouse congrats on the weight gain! Sorry to hear about his arm and eye problems though.
sunshine. Can't believe Aiden is still struggling with his cough, hope it clears up soon as its been ages.
Can't recall who was having problems with daytime naps but I second what Nutella said - do what works for you. I was in a bit of a different situation as I'm self employed and I had deadlines that meant as soon as he napped I had to get working. So naptime was a struggle for us as i had to put him down. But eventually something just clicked (around 12 weeks I think) and most times now he's happy to be put in his cot with comforter and mobile and gurgle for a bit before drifting off. I tend to always feed him before putting him down so he's a bit drowsy.
I think I've found the next big weight loss craze - breastfeeding and tummy bug, lost over half a stone in 2 daysso am now below my prepreg weight, and I was underweight before George anyway. As soon as I'm eating properly again bring on the pies! George is still sleeping badly but doesn't seem as hungry when he wakes so will see how it goes and try and settle him with a cuddle if he's not been asleep for long between feeds.
